Ode to my quill
by Annette Smith
I am an American poet
I live with this pen in hand
I am inspired by my dreams
Nothing all too grand
I am an American poet
I literally write to live
I may not have money or riches
Just my words to give
I am an American poet
Whose heart felt words are real
I write down how I think
And I write down what I feel
I am an American poet
My life is upon this lined pad
Words of my past dreams of the future
And of the times that I once had
I am an American poet
I live with this pen in hand
Maybe once you read my words
You will finally understand... I Am An American Poet!

I will be back in a little while. Have to run to Courthouse to pay my County taxes. Just paid the City ones last month. It just ruins my mood on Monday....LOL!
Gosh, I just heard a big thunder boom and it scare me out of my chair! Terrible way to start Mondays. Taxes and thunder!
I hope it stops before I finish dressing. Another loud boom and it sounded like something hit my storm door...its awful!

Things are looking up this week. Marissa went back to school this morning. ... Yeah!!! Max should finish his antibiotics this Thursday and he looks good. Mr Just has his post-op appts this week and should be back to normal activities by next week.

Another answer
It is yourself that is released from the bad, hard feeling oi anger, hurt, bitterness, pain. When you forgive (let go) and stop holding on to these feelings ... it is you that will feel lighter, more peaceful, happier.
The other person experiences nothing at all .. it is you that receives the effects of release in forgiveness.

No, she is not going to be leaving the lower level of her house - at least not during this. Her lights are flickering and the sky is black - and thunder is heavy. Her computer went out before she could turn it off.
I saw yesterday that TN was going to be under severe weather threats - but I did not know it would be this bad. It was just on FNC.

I’ve been considering raising the graphic size to 140,000 bytes. Let me check with a couple of people to see if they are still on dialup. The 100,000 byte limit does get frustrating. :(

Not too bad. :)
We paid $3.539 at Costco on Saturday. It is not unusual to see it at $3.699 in the area. It will be $4.00 by summer. Obamanomics.

We have a part to play, we must believe that He is and He rewards those that seek Him.
We are to pick up our cross and follow him, and tell our brethren the gospel message of Christ, and we are to be salt and light in this world.

“Hebrew 11:6
But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Matthew 7:21-23 (King James Version)
“ ...
21.Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22.Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23.And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

God is not mocked. When we believe we want to be obedient to his commands. Yes, we make mistakes and do wrong too; but there are fruits of our belief. .

GOOD MILITARY MONDAY TO AMYS PLACE!
The Soldiers Code
1) I am an American fighting man. I serve in the forces which guard my country and our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense.
2) I will never surrender of my own free will. If in command, I will never surrender my men while they still have the means to resist.
3) If I am captured, I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy.
4) If I become a prisoner of war, I will keep faith with my fellow prisoners. I will give no information or take part in any action which might be harmful to my comrades. If I am senior, I will take command. If not, I will obey the lawful orders of those appointed over me, and will back them up in every way.
5) When questioned, should I become a prisoner of war, I am bound to give only name, rank, service number, and date of birth. I will evade answering further questions to the utmost of my ability. I will make no oral or written statements disloyal to my country and its allies, or harmful to their cause.
6) I will never forget that I am an American fighting man, responsible for my actions, and dedicated to the principles which made my country free. I will trust in my God and in the United States of America.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower, August, 1955.
