I thought that time past a black holes event horizon only appears to an outside observer to stand still. Actually, anything past the event horizon is unobservable, so it is pure conjecture. That's what a singularity is. It's a prediction boundary that can't be breached using existing models.

Today is a good day to die.
I didn't say for whom.

Black holes are some of the weirdest things in the universe. They occur when mass is packed into a tiny volume, squished to its ultimate density.
I luv it when ditiz female reporterettes write about something they are completely ignorant of. First it was Firearms, now it's Physics. I swear, it's gotta be a Union Rule.
And what male bastion is next for them?
The benefit of being able to pee while standing up?

Kerr spacetime is time-independent, meaning that nothing in Kerr spacetime changes over time. In effect, time stands still. Yep, time certainly stands still with Kerr spacetime for me!

Argh! It’s the cursed black spot, matey!
To: The Comedian
You’re right. Light’s not escaping either. At least I’m only as ignorant as everybody else about what can be “seen,” LOL! This is one of the many questions I’m going to ask God when (if) I get to Him.

What’s wrong with a picture of a democrat Dick Gephardt supporter?

Whats wrong with a picture of a democrat Dick Gephardt supporter? That was *way* too clever.
Maybe she's a Cheney fan?

Cheney fan? Not as likely, but of course I’m not about to start an argument with you, tough-and-brilliant guy. ;-p

Kerr spacetime is time-independent, meaning that nothing in Kerr spacetime changes over time. In effect, time stands still. A black hole in such a state is essentially stationary....Astronomers think most galaxies, including our own Milky Way, host supermassive black holes in their centers. Some researchers suspect that these are actually Kerr black holes.
So all these black holes are "stationary" and they're all at the center of galaxies that are expanding out away from each other.
Which means that astronomers, like "climate scientists", are capable of AliceInWonderland logic.
