Jimmy Buffett was rushed to a hospital in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday (Jan. 26) after the 64-year-old singer fell offstage and remained unconscious for several minutes, according to reports.
He’s definitely a lefty - at least in some ways. Too bad, as I enjoy his music. I read his book, “A Pirate Looks at 50” & was glad to see he carried a gun in the plane when he went flying from island to island (he didn’t necessarily land only at airports). At least he has some sense.
Best wishes, Jimmy.
I saw him at Poly-Pavillion in the 70s nice small auditorium.
Wasn’t at all impressed with him or his grating marimmba style music. Yuch.
I’m a lifelong musician so I guess I hold music to my own high expectations.
A change in altitude.
He looks quite robust.
I’m not a fan, but I wish him well.
I really don’t like Jimmy Buffet much. He is a Obama supporter, and even blamed Bush for the Oil spill last summer.
I don’t want to see him hurt, but he is just another rockstar that can’t seem to STFU.
Get well but he is a HUGE Obama support so - Eff him!
He loves Obama. He hated Bush too. Anti-American piece of trash and realtive of other Obama stooge Warren Buffett.
F Parrotheads. His music is for bar scum, drunks, boat scum and dope heads plus former drug dealers in Key West.
Jimmy and I use hang out in the same dives from New Orleans to Key West, he wasn’t famous then and I never met him. A classmate of mine is one of the orginal “Coral Reefers” and still I never met him. I am heading to Caribbean next week and will be playing his music.
Get Well Jimmy.
Too much Manfred Mann...
Well we used to go to Mexico, Bahamas, etc. On vacation every year so a Buffett concert was always a nice start to it.
What so you care since we all know you NEVER watch any TV and do nothing but gripe about those that do. Besides, that’s just downright judgmental and mean.
He Went Over the Stage, Looking For Answers, To Questions That Bothered Him so.....
Stepped on a pop top.
I was stationed in key west ‘69 to ‘71. Moonlighted as a bartender out in town.
A small group of us saw many sunrises together.
Jimmy Buffett's Grumman HU-16 Albatross Singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett, known for extolling an island-escapism lifestyle in his music and businesses, owns this former military Grumman HU-16 Albatross amphibian aircraft, which can be operated from water or land. Buffett named the aircraft "The Hemisphere Dancer." While carrying Buffett and U2's singer Bono in Jamaica in 1996, it was shot at by local police, who suspected it of carrying drugs. Nobody on board was hurt, but the plane received some bullet holes. Buffett memorialized the incident in a song he titled "Jamaica Mistaica."
I am sorry we will not see him in St Barts. He is a regular and often gives free concerts. Hopefully he will recover and be there as we will be there .

I hope come Monday he’ll be alright.
