SYDNEY – Singer Jimmy Buffett fell off a stage at the end of a concert in Sydney and was rushed to the hospital.

Never cared for him or his songs, but I hope he wasn't injured too badly.

Used to be one of my Jeep owner/customers in the 80’s. Super-nice guy and truly regular folk. He once gave the whole shop tix to a Jones Beach performance just as a thank you for service. I hope he does OK after the fall.

1) Oil spill in the gulf? Blame Bush!

Jimmy Buffett plans a free concert Sunday in Tampa to urge people to vote for Democrat Barack Obama for president. The "Last Chance for Change" rally and concert is happening two days before the election at the outdoor Ford Amphitheatre.

Could happen to anybody. A friend of mine saw conductor Leonard Bernstein slip off his podium and go sliding into the orchestra at a concert. Bernstein used to jump around so much (too much, IMO) on the podium; he probably fell off more times than we know.
