PHOENIX (AP) _ The wife of a Maricopa County supervisor has pleaded guilty in a sexual misconduct case involving a teenage boy.
Prosecutors say Susan Brock pleaded guilty Monday afternoon to three counts of attempted sexual conduct with a minor.
The Pinal County Attorney's office released a statement stating, "....Brock's plea agreement was accepted by the court. She will be sentenced to between seven and 15 years in prison for one of the three counts. The plea agreement stipulated that the sentence for the other two counts will be lifetime probation. Also, Brock will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of her life...."

The saga of the Brock family has been unfolding like a bad soap opera. One cannot help but wonder whats going through the mind of Maricopa County Supervisor Fulton Brock at this point. A devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, hes caught in a very tight spot, putting his faith through a very severe test.
On October 26, 2010, Fulton Brocks wife, 48-year-old Susan Brock, was arrested amidst accusations of having sex about 30 times over a three-year period with a teenage boy, starting when the teen was 14. Shortly after that in mid-November, Fulton Brock filed for divorce.
And now Fulton Brock is shell-shocked with the arrest of Rachel Katherine Brock, Susan Brocks 21-year-old daughter, on three counts of sexual conduct with the same boy her mother is accused of molesting and at least one count of transmitting obscene material. None of the acts involved intercourse.
The statement released by the Chandler Police Department reads: Rachel Brock committed numerous acts of sexual conduct with a minor and at least one count of furnishing harmful items to a minor. At the time the crimes occurred the victim was under fifteen years of age, classifying them as dangerous crimes against children. The victim in this case is the same child allegedly victimized by Susan Brock.
Rachel Brock allegedly had sexual trysts with the boy from February, 2007, to August, 2008 making her 18 at the time, and the boy 13. Like her mother, it appears the younger Brock has an affinity for road head.

In her first court appearance December 30, 2010, the judge read off the charges against Rachel Brock as: three counts of sexual conduct with a minor and one count of providing obscene material to a minor.
Chandler police Sgt. Joe Favazzo said it appears that Susan and Rachel Brock didnt know about each others relationship with the teen.

A shell-shocked Fulton Brock issued the following statement:
Shocked and devastated are not words sufficient to describe the news this day or what has transpired over the past two months. In October, my wife of 28 years was arrested and charged with having an inappropriate relationship with a minor. Now, my daughter has been arrested, pending charges.
She is being accused of having a relationship with the same young man when she was 18.
I have filed to divorce my wife. I cannot divorce my daughter. She is my blood. I will always be her Dad. And she needs one now more than ever.
All families are challenged. But no family should ever be challenged this way whether it be ours, or that of the victim and his family.
Justice demands answers and cooperation.
Nothing can ever make this situation right other than raising awareness so other families can avoid such sorrow. As a person of faith I ask for your continued prayers.
A third woman, Christian Hart Weems, 37, was arrested in the case on December 28 on suspicion of obstructing a criminal investigation and conspiracy to commit computer tampering. Shes accused of deleting potentially incriminating e-mails between the boy and Susan Brock. Police say Weems is a friend of Susan Brock
Both women were being held at the Maricopa County jail.

Additional story on the Brock case:
The case of Susan Brock, the now-estranged wife of Maricopa County Supervisor Fulton Brock, took another turn on December 28th, 2010 when a 37-year-old Chandler woman who was a friend of Brock's was arrested. Christian Hart Weems was arrested for conspiracy to commit computer tampering or altering of data, computer tampering or altering of data, hindering prosecution, and tampering with physical evidence, all felonies; she is accused of destroying and altering evidence in the personal email account of the boy Susan Brock has been charged with molesting over a three-year period. Although Weems was initially booked into the Maricopa County Jail in Phoenix, the Phoenix New Times reports that she has since been released on her own recognizance, and is due back in court on January 12th. It has now been confirmed that, like Susan Brock, Christian Weems is also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The scheme: Court documents show that Brock and the boy communicated through the Yahoo email account. The boy would write in a draft the time she should pick him around the corner of his house. Brock, who had the boy's password, would log in and read the drafts. As a result, there was no record of messages being sent and the boy's parents would not find out. Not only did the boy's parents forbid Susan Brock to have contact with him, but the boy's high school principal also had warned Brock to stay off of school grounds.
The obstruction: During a jailhouse phone call on November 2nd, it is alleged that Weems coaxed Brock into revealing the password to the Yahoo email account. Once in there, Weems allegedly altered, damaged or destroyed potential evidence that would have incriminated Susan Brock.
She will be sentenced to between seven and 15 years in prison for one of the three counts.

And she will be excommunicated and not be able to be re-baptized Mormon until her civil rights are restored (per the LDS ‘Handbook of Instructions’).
Can’t imagine the fathers state of mind at this point. He should be enraged...but then I suspect the Mormon folk will “calmn” such an emotional outburst and blame him for not overseeing his family “properly”.
The mental images run wild!
Amen!
...but for the Grace of GOD...
Lord; have mercy on ME!
Nah...
...like SUBSIDIZING huge illegitimacy rates.
And the others who slobber: "I'd hit it!"
WHICH ‘father’?
Right ... like ENCOURAGING teenage single motherhood among the poorest, DISCOURAGING and MOCKING marriage, and INCARCERATING most urban black daddies.

Hey, X-42 did it in the WH, and we had to find out what is is.
Susan has admitted to having sexual contact with a 14-year-old boy.
Much of the focus in Thursday's hearing was on her husband, County Supervisor Fulton Brock.
Before the hearing began Thursday, Fulton Brock's attorney, David Cantor, addressed the court, indicating the prosecution was going to share questionable content against his client and that it should not be allowed because Brock was not charged with anything in his wife's case.
In court Thursday, prosecutor Jason Holmberg alleged that Fulton not only knew about his wife's sexual encounters with the teenage victim, but also tried to hide evidence and then tried to help get his wife's charges reduced.
Holmberg alleged that when the search warrant was served at the Brock home, Fulton threatened to call the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and denied knowing where his wife's phone was, only to hand over the cellphone and Susan's credit cards 45 minutes later.
Phone calls between Fulton and Susan that were recorded after her arrest were presented as evidence in court. In one of the calls, Fulton indicated the victim had cash and a ring. That's when Susan told her husband to stop talking because it was being recorded. Holmberg alleged that the two tried to claim the victim was extorting them.
Holmberg also alleged that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints' leaders met with both Susan and Fulton before Susan was arrested to discuss the situation, and they determined Susan would undergo sex therapy.
Chandler police detectives claim she had numerous sexual encounters with a with the boy.
Holmberg has called Susan a master of manipulation, who befriended her best friend's son for the sole purpose of satisfying her sexual and emotional needs.
Good grief.
How old was the daughter when this started?
Did the mom encourage this?
What is wrong with people?
How do lds handle this stupidity?
The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints is perfect:
the people who are MORMONs, aren't.

"All of this should be conveyed without having priesthood leaders focus upon intimate matters which are a part of husband and wife relationships. Skillful interviewing and counseling can occur without discussion of clinical details by placing firm responsibility on individual members of the Church to put their lives in order before exercising the privilege of entering a house of the Lord. The First Presidency has interpreted oral sex as constituting an unnatural, impure, or unholy practice. If a person is engaged in a practice which troubles him enough to ask about it, he should discontinue it."
- Official Declaration of the First Presidency of the Church, January 5th, 1982
"Among the most common sexual sins our young people commit are necking and petting. Not only do these improper relations often lead to fornication, [unwed] pregnancy, and abortions - all ugly sins - but in and of themselves they are pernicious evils, and it is often difficult for youth to distinguish where one ends and another begins. They awaken lust and stir evil thoughts and sex desires. They are but parts of the whole family of related sins and indiscretions. Almost like twins, 'petting' and fornication are alike."
- Prophet Spencer W. Kimball, The Miracle of Forgiveness, page 65
"Also far-reaching is the effect of the loss of chastity. Once given or taken or stolen it can never be regained. Even in a forced contact such as rape or incest, the injured one is greatly outraged. If she has not cooperated and contributed to the foul deed, she is of course in a more favorable position. There is no condemnation where there is no voluntary participation. It is better to die in defending one's virtue than to live having lost it without a struggle."

"And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth." (Genesis 4:9-14.) That was true of murder. It is also true of illicit sex, which, of course, includes all petting, fornication, adultery, homosexual acts, and all other perversions. The Lord may say to offenders, as He did to Cain, "What hast thou done?" The children thus conceived make damning charges against you; the companions who have been frustrated and violated condemn you; the body that has been defiled cries out against you; the spirit which has been dwarfed convicts you. You will have difficulty throughout the ages in totally forgiving yourself."

"I do not find in the Bible the modern terms "petting" nor "homosexuality," yet I found numerous scriptures which forbade such acts under by whatever names they might be called. I could not find the term "homosexuality," but I did find numerous places where the Lord condemned such a practice with such vigor that even the death penalty was assessed."
- Apostle Spencer W. Kimball, "Love Versus Lust", BYU Speech January 5, 1965
"If adultery or fornication justified the death penalty in the old days, and still in Christ's day, is the sin any less today because the laws of the land do not assess the death penalty for it? Is the act less grievous? There must be a washing, a purging, a changing of attitudes, a correcting of appraisals, a strengthening toward self-mastery. There must be many prayers, and volumes of tears. There must be an inner conviction giving to the sin its full diabolical weight. There must be increased devotion and much thought and study. And this takes energy and time and often is accompanied with sore embarrassment, heavy deprivations and deep trials, even if indeed one is not excommunicated from the Church, losing all spiritual blessings."

"How like the mistletoe is immorality. The killer plant starts with a sticky sweet berry. Little indiscretions are the berries -- indiscretions like sex thoughts sex discussions, passionate kissing, pornography. The leaves and little twigs are masturbation and necking and such, growing with every exercise. The full-grown plant is petting and sex looseness. It confounds, frustrates, and destroys like the parasite if it is not cut out and destroyed, for, in time it robs the tree, bleeds its life, and leaves it barren and dry; and, strangely enough, the parasite dies with its host."
