MOBILE, Ala., Students at two Alabama middle schools got their county's commission to declare Feb. 14 "No Cussing Day," a day designed to encourage abstaining from profanity.
The Mobile County Commission voted Monday to approve the proposal from about 500 students at Lott and Semmes middle schools to declare Valentine's Day "No Cussing Day," the Mobile (Ala.) Press-Register reported Tuesday.
The commission agreed to give $5,000 to Lott Middle School in Citronelle to fly in California teenager McKay Hatch, who founded the nationwide No Cussing Club in 2007.
County Commission President Merceria Ludgood, who said she never uses profanity, applauded the students for spearheading the idea.
"I think it's a wonderful idea, especially since it has percolated up from the children themselves. They want to do something to help their community," Ludgood said. "So many times, we read stories about our children that aren't positive. We really need to celebrate our children's accomplishments."
And Joe Biden said “This is a big “effing” deal”.
Just darn!
Exodus 20:2 “thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain” Imagine if everyone would stop saying “Oh my G#*”.

It would be best to avoid golf and home improvement projects.
