Always said the H1N1 "epidemic" wink, wink....was a test run to see how many people will get the shot. They threw tons away....and we had already paid for it.
The next time around, you'll be forced to take it.

Imagine trying to sue over bad side affects. The guy in charge will get a promotion and the taxpayers have to shell out $$$.And the Democrats will get their usual kickback from the trial lawyers.

the Obama administration is starting a federal drug development center, aiming to spur the creation of new medicines.
. . . and how exactly does he have authority to do this?

Tax their profits, use the tax to go into completion with them. This will stimulate them to, what? Go out of business?

Let’s see how far they get when they have to go up against that other model of government efficiency - the FDA. They want to know why new drugs aren’t developed fast enough? Look no further than the FDA. Especially Dendreon’s prostate cancer immunotherapy, Provenge.

Sovereign immunity, baby. This is one way to regulate the kickbacks to the lawyers tort industry.Anyone wondering why the pharma companies aren't howling about it?
It reminds me of actually an old trick in Canadian politics. Get rhe government on board, announce a private-public partnership, and tell the carpers that thay now have a problem with the Government of Canada. This trick's so old, it was co-opted by the multiculturalist crew.

aspirin would only take 20 years to get through phase 3 trials...In today's regulatory environment, aspirin would not even make it to Phase 3 trials (too many side effects).
