Have you tried the Salt-n-Pepper pistachios made by “Everybody’s Nuts”? They sell them at Publix now. They are sooooooo addicting. I swear they put crack in them. Cunning, baffling, and powerful. I think I need to call my sponsor right now.
I'm not of the opinion that 'Some must die so that others can live', but I am of the opinion that 'If some of them are gonna die anyways, might as well let them motivate the rest of us'.......
Jesus Christ told us the poor will always be with us. The reasons why they will rear their ugly head every now and then.
You need to pick up a white potato chip.
scratch that . Wasn’t paying attention
STOP THE PRESSES!!
True. But what He didn't tell us, is that they would live in Section 8 housing, getting fat on FoodStamps, getting free Medicaid health care, an education for their yutes, and generally have great cellphones and plasma tvs.
Ink jet rehab?
"You haven't been drinking again, have you?"
LMAO
Carly would scare ANYone straight. Ewwwwwwww......
When I first saw this story it seemed nice and magical.
But reality, as they say is a bitch, hence this was really another Liberal Feel Good story.
I have to ask the question and that is if this had been a white guy with a golden voice would this have turned out the same????
I don’t think so.
Here we have a guy who had a life, family and career and then got into drugs and alcohol. Now was there any help when all this started, like with friends, family and employer,or was he allowed to drift down and become homeless?
Lot about this guy and the story I haven’t followed.
I certainly wish him well but without a strong support group and ongoing help poor Ted and his pathetic looking girlfriend will be back on the streets right where they were found about a month ago.
Blue Diamond Almonds with Wasabi.
More addictive than Meth.
The entertainment industry and the consumption of adult beverages are tied together so tight, there’s no hope of being in it and not being tempted with alcohol. Not to mention recreational and other drugs.
Same as it ever was. He’s squandered every gift he’s ever been given — why should this one be any different? There is, after all, a reason he was a homeless derelict.
I don’t believe a man can change unless I can see that a man has changed.

Ooh! Look at that face.
I don’t want to afford her.
Read the sad story about pitcher Steve Howe who would have had a career fit for the Hall of Fame but for his addictions and was given something like four or five “second chances.”
Sometimes you have to love them enough to let them die...it took me a good many years to understand what that means.”
That is incredibly profound, I’m keeping that. Another one I had to come to realize is, “ You can’t “love” someone out of an addiction”.
I finally learned that when I had to throw my alcoholic girlfriend out of my apartment. It was an extremely brutal year with her until I finally realized that.
“Alcoholics dont stop drinking until there is absolutely no other option. Sometimes, even then they dont quit. Apparently, Ted still has options.”
I respectfully disagree with that statement. I am a former drunk, who will have been sober 10yrs come this February. I was pretty much a functioning alcoholic. I wasn’t in danger of losing my job. I didn’t neglect my family and only had a few run-ins with law, that were related to my drinking.
The main reason I quit, was I didn’t like waking up in the morning feeling bad, and I didn’t like planning my social life around alcohol. I really didn’t like my vice, controlling me.
I will agree that I very well could have hit rock bottom and run out of options. However; the good Lord (in his infinite wisdom) chose to open my eyes and spare me all that before I had to go through it.
Personally what I think aided me (besides faith in Christ), was the fact that I chose not to announce it anyone. I had no other goal than quiting. I didn’t set myself up for failure. I just stopped. Some of my drinking buddies were disappointed (I was a friendly type who bought for many), but they soon found other drinking buddies and everything was good...lol
Deep down I was pulling for Ted, but I also saw this coming. It’s a shame really. I hope he gets his life back on track whether he’s entertaining others on the radio or digging a ditch. He needs to do it sober :)
Demon rum can cost ya.
