If, in retrospect, My Motherland might seem to be a regrettable choice for a state dinner, it clearly was unintentional. Like hell it was.

It’s okay.
We’re starting to get used to people who hate America and flipping off patriots while they laugh and smile. :(

The actual title does not include the non-word “boold”.

You have to use the actual title of the article as the title of the thread.

Disgusting if true. We bring in someone to perform a Chicom song that celebrates a Chinese/North Korean battle against our nation?
In the White House?

"Chinese Song - My motherland 我的祖國" I listened for 2 mil Sec after the screech singing started. Thought my sound card had blown up. Typical COMMIE propaganda film with amateur NO talent COMMIE actors!
I'm sure "Our Dear Leader" listens to "My motherland" every night.

Comrade Obama reportedly wore a red tie to greet the ChiCom leader. I suppose that too was an “unintentional” signal. But wait...didn’t he just recently say ‘we’ welcome the rise of China?

In China, it turns out, My Motherland is better known as the theme from the film Battle on Shangganling Mountain, a 1956 Chinese classic about a Korean War battle in which a vastly outnumbered band of Chinese soldiers held off American and United Nations forces for 42 days. The Chinese weren't outnumbered. It was 50,000 Chinese troops vs about 20,000 UN troops.

This is a typical Ogabe blunder that, had it happened under Bush, would have caused the media to rain insults on Bush’s head.

Yes, all that Chinese blood was spilled to turn a potentially functional nation into the world’s largest prison camp ruled by an insane power-mad family. But they’re communists (in name), so I’m sure that’s a comfort to the left.
Pure insanity.
However, the song was clearly intentional because the only value North Korea has is as a thorn in our side, and this was an instance of just that.
So what’s going to happen? Well, the Chinese economy is far more on the ropes than most people realize. When the bubbles burst, they’ll revert to economy through conquest. Japan? Taiwan? Nope - too much risk of a real war with us (if not now, then after obastard loses in 2012). North Korea who has become a thorn in China’s side? Yup - and we’ll all cheer. Bonus for China: that will solidify their place on the world stage as a superpower.
It’s almost inevitable.
