And I used to eat Hostess Fruit Pies (you know, pastry with sugary fruit goo in the middle, blanketed by lard) every morning in the high school caf. Amazing I didn’t weigh 200 pounds, either! I don’t think I knew what a calorie was then. :)
There’s on line voting but it looked like you had to register, etc. I hate registering, passwords, etc. All their facebook pages are linked to the american idol web site.
Maybe that is why Cowell, Paula and Kara left their mutli-multi million dollar gigs? Don’t you remember when Paula read her critique for someone’s, can’t remember who, second song that he hadn’t sang yet? It’s scripted all for the judges, they didn’t even say anything when Thia Megia forgot the words to a song a couple weeks ago. It’s all scripted and that’s not illegal, they , Nigel Lythgoe, can be as biased as he wants to and that’s not illegal, hell it’s his show. They just can’t cheat on counting the votes and I’m sure they do that accurately because it’s the law.
No.
She'll be singing "River Deep Mountain High." A far inferior song to "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," which is a pop masterpiece.
Pia's delivery, intonation and technique are flawless. She connects emotionally with every song she's sung thus far. She's the best singer in the history of American Idol.
I also enjoy Jacob Lusk and Lauren Alaina very much. Lauren was slightly under pitch during the first part of her performance this past Tuesday...it sounded like she didn't have enough piano in her in-ears.
I do think she could go all the way.
I think there are at least six singers on this year's show who could easily have beaten Lee DeWyze last year. This years' competition is really something.
“River Deep, Mountain High”
Paula wrote that critique based on the rehearsal, not because it was scripted.
You really think Paula was smart enough to write her own stuff? LOL! Were Ryan and Simon’s “fights” not scripted either?

I doubt the writers would have come up with her talking about cornflakes.
I told you already they base their critiques on the rehearsals. You bring this fixed garbage up almost every year it gets old.
I know critiques pre-written from rehearsal, AKA scripted, and you think Paula and the gang are all brilliant writers who don’t take direction from the producer, and ignore statistics and facts and articles written about the scripting, that’s fine if you want to be a chump. I just enjoy the show. If you can’t have a civil discussion about it mind your own business, Okay prick?
You’re the one that can’t have a civil conversation and resorted to name calling. Twice in fact with your last post.
Don’t know if you’ve seen this or not, but, thought you might like it.
The Village People. The only human is the guy in the middle, the rest are puppets.

Thanks for the addition of “Women”. I didn’t mean to leave them out.
And thank you for your service.
This is satire, no?
“Songs” from the internet are not songs.
What a dumb idea!
I disagree. Here’s a young gal playing and singing and original song. She’s quite talented. Maybe a future Idol hopeful?

I don’t like having to register for everything either.
I agree - there are some really good singers this year.
Pia is not perfect in delivery though. She belts too much, too long. Her voice is flawless and she’s beautiful and all that. I do believe she could connect more to the song as well.
Consensus...I don’t know.
I think this is Butler’s year. ;o)
Not so much satire as an April Fool’s joke. ;)
Next week is Rock n Roll Hall of Fame week.
