Are you more knowledgeable than the average citizen? The average score for all 2,508 Americans taking the following test was 49%; college educators scored 55%. Can you do better? Questions were drawn from past ISI surveys, as well as other nationally recognized exams.
The following questions were taken from the 2008 Civic Literacy exam.
Average score for this quiz during January: 75.5%
How well will freepers do, compared with the average? I'd guess in the top 10percentile .... with several pulling 100% scores.
And the average DUer???? The bottom 10percentile, I'd venture to guess .... :)
27 out of 33 correctly 81.82 %

Me too. I believe that's the one I missed.
It should have been - cut taxes and decrease spending.
Mine was 84.85%.
Same here.
#33 seemed to be one of those questions with no correct answer. I picked A. Government debt is zero
, while realizing it should be deficit
, not debt
. I should have read D as average tax per person equals average government spending per person
. Sigh.
29 out of 33. 87% I disagree with their answer to the tax question.
You answered 31 out of 33 correctly 93.94 %
I’m guessing we’ll have a pretty edumacated bunch around here, even if we’re not all elitist snobs that went to school with ivy weeds growing all over the buildings.
I got the last one wrong as well, but I think the answer is not clear. I picked A as well, but on second thought, deficit is not the same as debt. I think we got the last one wrong for the same reason
I answered 30 out of 33 correctly 90.91 %
Average score for this quiz during January: 75.6%
nah, you guys are wrong. Read the question again. Its not asking you whats the best medicine but which policy the government is likely to pursue, which is the worst of both world. Whenever dem/gop reach a compromise, its MORE likely than not, that we get tax cut and more spending
90.91%. It pays to study with Publius & Co..
