“Researchers have long puzzled over what was causing the seemingly healthy fish to suddenly stop swimming and turn belly up.”
Too many Obama speeches.

lets pass a carbon tax to put an end to it all. I think we need to extend Obamacare to include ALL animals living in the U.S., not just the human kind.

Are you sure this isnt a parody?
If not, its got to be the wackiest WWII poster Ive ever seen. It combines a Varga Girl with gun porn and, what, condoms? Well, shes wearing a gas mask, so its sheer camo netting? Its hard to decipher.
If it is an actual period poster, it would be worth something. I'd like to have a copy.

Have they blamed it on Sarah Palin yet? And Rush...

The article did not mention how many live cattle were found in the field with the dead ones.Might take the fun out of it. Might give people the idea that it was natural.

“The coldest I have ever been was in Alberta Canada on a deer hunt. It was -20 and not a breath of wind, ice crystals were floating in the air like on a sparkly Christmas card. I was dressed for a south Texas deer hunt, hey it was November, how did I know? I almost died.”
I went squirrel hunting on a sunny day in Northern Wisconsin once upon a time. It was -30, and I was wearing snowshoes and was dressed for the weather. I shot a squirrel, it fell from the tree, and by the time I reached it, it was frozen.
Ahh, the pleasant memories of a youth spent in near idyllic conditions.

-52, Iron Range of Minnesota for me.
-30 not uncommon.

The coldest I have ever been was in Alberta Canada on a deer hunt. It was -20 and not a breath of wind, ice crystals were floating in the air like on a sparkly Christmas card. Had that happen to me in the mountains of North Carolina, a bizarrely strong cold front blew in, I think it was 1985. Power lines were just snapping on their own because they were brittle from the cold.
My car wouldn't start, I was in college and had been working late in the design lab on a project, wasn't paying attention to the weather forecast, wore just a lightweight jacket. Temps dropped from the 40s to ten below. I had to walk home in that, thought I was hallucinating, car horns were going off by themselves and the air was filled with what looked like Disney pixie dust.
The humidity had crystalized and was falling out of thin air, I was later told.

Minnesota, isn't that where ya’ll elected that goofy wrestler as your gov? Maybe the cold has something to do with that, frozen brains or something. I know the heat down here affects me in weird ways.

To address the respiratory problem of the cows, the federal government MUST provide treadmills for each cow!

Once we are collectivized, it doesn’t matter. By the way, the cows would all be shot as suspected enemy agents. Never mind that they are dead already.
To: silverleaf
How do the cows decide which cows have to be on the outside of herd? Or do they take turns? :-)
