Howie Carr should be back from vacation today. I believe the Death Pool is open.

Ping. “Forbidden Planet” I will concede is/was ‘art’ as opposed to ‘entertainment.’ I watched it on AMC last evening. It still works.

Love Forbidden Planet but I thought Ann Francis was famous in her own right, I’m surprised Forbidden Planet is the first mention.

Must be the “Forbidden Planet” curse that also took Leslie Nielsen last month.

I was a fan.
I always thought Miss Francis was blue collar Marilyn Monroe. Just as pretty and maybe just maybe someone like me would stand a chance. Well, not really but it was a real good thought.

She always seemed like a nice lady when I would see her interviewed. Rest in peace, Anne Francis.

So sad to hear this. She was very beautiful.
She was also the living mannequin in that episode of "The Twilight Zone."

Anne was great in Forbidden Planet and as George Maharis' love interest in The Satan Bug, but she will always be Honey West to me.
I'm glad I caught Forbidden Planet on TCM yesterday.
Anne will be sorely missed
Jack.

She fought a courageous battle with cancer. Yes, she'll always be “Honey West” to me. RIP.
