My sister toured the Hermitage several years ago and was surprised at how dirty it was. Hopefully, they have cleaned up their act since then.

He now sits majestically in his throne-like bed, answering to the name Viscount. Cats naturally gravitate to their proper place in life. I miss mine terribly even after several years.

Love to read stories where people actually help the animals.....it kind of restores my faith in the goodness of people.....but then...someone will come in here and take that away....

Part of being a Communist is revering those who suffer the most under what they accept as a legitimate and necessary system of rule. A kind of perverted honor, not for the underdog who is striving to succeed, but for those who simply suffer.
Fatalism is also part of the democrats sick version of morality. They have accepted being losers. That's how they can think that those who succeed must be crooks or 'steeling from the poor'.

I thought the Hermitage was great... I was just sorry I only had one day in there. They have SO much art packed into a relatively small building it’s amazing. I don’t remember any cats though... but it was still Lenningrad back when I was there.
