Retired Marine Corps drill instructor and actor R. Lee Ermey took an opportunity to rail against the Obama administration during a Dec. 10 appearance on Roe & Roepers Miracle on Indianapolis Blvd. Holiday Extravaganza live broadcast to benefit the USO. The retired vet stressed that the Marines Toys 4 Tots program was working through the struggling economy to bring holiday cheer to young boys and girls, but also delivered a political punch to the Obama administration which he claimed was trying to destroy the country by imposing socialism:

Indeed,my kids love it.My little girl will go up to her brother and say”tissue?” and then throw it at him and call him crybaby. Then its on around the house.
I sense a bit of envy in you brother......Let a great spokesman for the Military Creed stand tall. In my opinion, he is surely honest and the first to admit he was awarded another stripe after his TOD. The title is valid because it was a Marine Commander who promoted him.
Never forget, Marines are Marines for life. Their TOD does not end when they ETS or retire. It was his wounds that forced his early retirement and he deserves better from you.

But YOU cannot sh!t the shock troops...
Old Marines Saying...
Well played. Spot on!
Also LOL!
I absolutely love R. Lee Ermey.
Ohhhh...I am very sorry to learn that...I liked those two...
What is this commercial? I’m afraid that, as a non-TV-watcher, I’m completely out of what sounds like a very entertaining loop.
I saw him on some historical weapons show talking about satchel charges in WW2. Then he tossed one into the front seat of a '92 Taurus.
Ten seconds later he says "That car will trouble us no further."
To Earn the title of U.S. Marine Gunnery Sergeant,
Is quite an accomplishment, Congratulations and Thanks.
Though he may not have earned that title I believe most are proud to have a guy like him portray one.
Again Thanks.

No, not really—Jack Webb—not a Marine—did a far superior job of prortraying a Marine in the 1956 version of “The DI.”
A couple of years ago, I used one of R. Lee Ermy's History Channel episodes to illustrate a paper I turned in for one of my American History classes--for some reason, I included a description of him shooting a watermelon. My prof laughed and told me to resubmit the paper without the creative editorializing.
You know what makes me sad,__________________!
LOL! Excellent!
