Retired Marine Corps drill instructor and actor R. Lee Ermey took an opportunity to rail against the Obama administration during a Dec. 10 appearance on Roe & Roeper’s Miracle on Indianapolis Blvd. Holiday Extravaganza live broadcast to benefit the USO. The retired vet stressed that the Marines’ Toys 4 Tots program was working through the struggling economy to bring holiday cheer to young boys and girls, but also delivered a political punch to the Obama administration which he claimed was trying to destroy the country by imposing socialism:

His rant was short and to the point, although his venue for giving it may not have been the best.
We need more people like R. Lee Ermey .

Had he not been retired due to medical reasons I am sure he would have made Gunnery.He did join the Corps at age 17.He has been an asset to the image of the Marine Corps as well and thats a good thing.

Not really a big surprise. If I had to guess, I would say that about 75% of the Corps has no respect for their current Commander in Chief. However, they learn early on to respect the rank and not the man. So they will follow this clown’s orders and not speak out publicly against him. In the military, you fight for freedom and democracy. It does not mean you get to practice it yourself...
