Putting the Christmas and New Year's season behind us, Washington, and the rest of us across the country will begin to focus on the new 2011 political terrain.

The economy, the new Congress, 0's stance vis a vis the new Congress, and a huge wave of Rs installed in state legislatures and governorships, including our own Iowa Granny...all will be analyzed, scrutinized and evaluated.

And not too far off in the future: 2012's election!

OK...I’ll try first.

So the Pubs reset the expectations and capitalism begins in earnist. The economy surges and the public wrongly associates Obama with the magic. His reelection coincides with the first implementation of carbon regulations from EPA and the beginning of the end of the USA. Texas muses secession and Rush moves to New Zealand.

Oh, wait.......forget that...I’m getting way ahead of myself again. Happy New Year everbody......
