Dallas and Detroit get 3rd place (ahead of WA and MN). Dallas ranks ahead of DET due to head to head.

But if SEA loses, they are 6-10. It ends up being DET and SEA ahead of DAL due to conference record of 5-7. Goes to common games DET vs. SEA. Not sure who wins that.

The Black ‘n’ Blue division was rough on non-conference opponents this year, which bodes well for next year. Shawn looked good today and last week, my joke was he should be required to play with taped fingers. :’)

I really don’t wanna see NYJ at Pats and BALT at PITT in the DIV round. If NYJ lose to INDY, BALT goes to Foxboro.

INDY cannot play NE until the Conference Championship.
PHIL cannot play ATL until the Conference Championship.
NYJ cannot play PITT until the Conference Championship.
GB cannot play CHI until the Conference Championship.

Yay! It’s the glow in the dark seahawks! Go rams. Actually I don’t mind seeing a 7-9 team getting in to the payoffs.

According to ESPN...

Detroit wins tie break over Dallas and San Francisco based on best win percentage in conference games.

Detroit wins tie break over Minnesota based on best win percentage in division games.

If Seattle wins tonight Detroit goes from 14th to 13th in the draft...according to those on ESPN/boards.

I forgot SF. Let’s review. If SEA loses, SF gets 2nd place. Regardless, a 3-way tie exists between 3rd place DET, 3rd place DAL and SF.

so the 5-7 conference record of DET ranks them higher in the standings than any other 6-10 NFC team. So DET is 9th in the NFC if SEA loses. Which puts them 8th in the NFC in the draft.

If SEA wins, DET is 7th in the NFC in the draft.

What about head-to-head, Dallas beat Detriot?

h2h doesn’t move DAL ahead of DET in a 3-way tie. Unless they also beat SF h2h. Did not play SF. So it moves to conference record. DET wins the 3-way tie.

Now, there is a 2-way tie with DAL and SF. It goes to common games. Gotta figure that one.

Thanks for starting the thread. I was flattened by the flu bug on Sunday and am just now feeling good enough to get back online.

i saw your status listed as “doubtful”, so I figured somethin’ was up. Your 297 game streak is over.
