Author assumes that everyone is a metrosexual. I won’t buy an apple product cause I don’t wanna look like a stupid, consumerist dork.

This is in contrast with Microsoft.

Most people are buying stuff from them because they ‘have’ to.

Microsoft is just sitting there, waiting to be replaced with something else. Vista shined the light on Microsoft’s shortcomings. They released Win7, which was an updated version of Vista that didn’t suck as bad, but with no real value added. Most all users don’t miss anything just sticking with XP with regard to functionality, and you don’t need 8GB of RAM for it to run well.....

Apple is the ... messiah of companies that we never thought would come to Earth in our lifetimes.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Do you honestly think there's a trillion dollars worth of actual value in Apple?

Why Apple Will Be The First Company to Reach a Trillion Dollar Market Cap

Love can oftentimes make people do and say insane things.

My prediction:

Apple's products, whatever the category, will continue to rule until the markets catch up with them in any of their currently successful categories.

Then, within 3 to 5 years, Apple's lineup, no matter which, whether in smartphones or computers or tablets or music players, will settle back down to the 5 to 10% percentile range, right about where the Macs were for the longest time.

Sanity usually brings people back down to earth and Apple will return to being in 3rd or 4th or 5th place in the computer/technology sector, and that's in both sales and market-cap.

im not reading this. however, Apple Computer is on top of the information age. Not the grimy sh!t, but the actually making a product that is useful, fun, and high quality.

And Steve Jobs' stand on pornography made me a customer.

I just wish he'd take a similar stand on the business of pimping people's personal info.

Mr. Jobs, privacy is a basic human right.

At a US$1Trillion market cap, AAPL would be weighted at approximately 60% of the NASDAQ 100 Index.

Not going to happen outside of a hyperinflation event where (most) boats in the NASDAQ 100 rise concurrently and roughly equally to chase the devaluation of the USD on a minute by minute basis.
