Austrian folk singers in the 1930's tended to wear a lot of sequins, do a lot of locking-and-popping dance routines, and rap is a dirty kind of way. They also looked a lot like Beyonce. Except the gay ones. They looked boyish and hunky.

Amen!!! To That. I thought remaking True Grit was sacrilege, but SOM certainly would be. There is SO MUCH material of interest for movie makers that it defies my belief that they remake classics.

Although I suppose they could get 50 Cent and Kanye West to do it...
