He was laughing at the charges saying his money would get him off. He got sent to jail. Now he is out and has the whole NFL PR team behind him. His only remorse was finding out his money couldn't keep him out of jail.
I really applaud Michael Vick making the most of the second chance he was given. I hope that he does not ruin it. His crimes and actions were beyond imaginable, but I am certainly glad that he is making the most of what he was given. Many in his situation would have failed right out of the gate if they were even given such a chance.
On the other hand, Obama gave him the kiss of death. Vick really stunk last night.
Question. What event was Vick sorry for?
Vick explained he was sorry he let down the Eagles, including Reid. He was upset he let down mentor Tony Dungy, the Super Bowl winning head coach. Vick said he was in tears agonizing over bad judgment, and that he no longer would put himself in compromising positions.
In addition to my last post, it is the NFL’s fault for creating an atmosphere that allows convicted felons to thrive. I cannot fault Vick for that.
I'm not sure where you got that from my post. I clearly did not say anything about the government welfare programs.
I think the money and time could be spent on people that need assistance instead of animals that may someday kill or seriously injure a well intentioned but naive dog rescue do-gooder. You don't have to share my opinion.
Seems to be a really important thing he forgot to mention. Like what he and his friends did to those dogs, for ENJOYMENT.
I think it’s great that these dogs will be around for years... to remind us all of what kind of person Michael Vick really is. God may have forgiven him but I haven’t.
People can definitely change, but I am skeptical that two years of prison can correct a lifetime of bad decision making that seems to run in his family. His brother Marcus Vick has a record of running afoul of the law as least as far back as his college days.
Sheik Obomba would be singing a different tune if Vick was white.
Seems like MV didn't make the most of his 'second' (actually about his sixth chance)...
"Vick explained he was sorry he let down the Eagles, including Reid. He was upset he let down mentor Tony Dungy, the Super Bowl winning head coach. Vick said he was in tears agonizing over bad judgment, and that he no longer would put himself in compromising positions."
Do you think he will call Ben Rothlesberger next? If anyone deserves jail time its him.
I am not sure what that quote is refering to. Is that when one of his friends “brandished” a weapon after his birthday party during the offseason?
It almost sounded like a non-event. Sounds like he is still walking the line between his past and present friends. I hope he makes the correct choice, and makes it pernament. I never got any other info about that incident, other than his apology and a brief description of the incident.
No. It is about when one of his 'friends' shot his cousin and co-defendent after his birthday party.
Sounds like his past friends are his present friends. No line to walk.
Your welcome. It came across my FB page. A pet sitter acquaintance has worked with one of these dogs. Lets just say there are quite a few folks pretty upset.

I posted this on my Facebook...truly wonderful. I hope folks ARE upset - what worries me are the ones who think Vick is “okay” now that he paid a price, which is really sad when you think about it. That man is pure evil for what he did to those animals, and these are the ones we know about. Thank you again.

I thank God I don’t share your opinion. Every day.
Who are you to tell these people what to do with their time and money or what charity work those so choose to do?
You don’t like what they are doing...with their own time and money. It is their money, not yours nor does it belong to anyone else you so deem fit. You sound like the government
with your pronouncements.
That’s my opinion ...and you don’t have to agree with it either!
Nothing logical about either one or your posts.
I agree with you 100%. Funny how on a conservative website we have people telling other people what they should do with their time and money.
