Wikileaks: Obama supported ousted Honduran Pres Zelaya to support Hugo Chavez

"The last year and a half of the [President Manuel] Zelaya Administration will be, in my view, extraordinarily difficult for our bilateral relationship. His pursuit of immunity from the numerous activities of organized crime carried out in his administration will cause him to threaten the rule of law and institutional stability."

—Charles Ford, U.S. ambassador to Honduras, May 15, 2008

Lots of hypotheses have been floated to explain why the Obama administration went to such extremes last year to try to force Honduras to reinstate deposed president Manuel Zelaya.

Now the release of two WikiLeaked cables from the U.S. embassy in Tegucigalpa strengthens one of those theories: that the U.S. knew Mr. Zelaya was a threat to democratic Honduras but had decided the country should tolerate his constitutional violations in the interest of realpolitik.

Practically speaking, Hugo Chávez was the man to please. After a decade in power, the president of Venezuela's influence around the region was notable. George W. Bush had clashed with him. Barack Obama was out to prove that they could get along, as evidenced by the warm handshake at the Summit of the Americas in Port of Spain in April 2009.

Honduras offered a bonding opportunity. Mr. Zelaya was a protégé of Mr. Chávez. Standing up for him as democratically elected was a way to score points with Latin America's hard left.

At a 2008 conference in Caracas, Venezuela's President Hugo Chávez hugs then-President Manuel Zelaya of Honduras.

.But Honduras wasn't willing to play the sacrificial lamb. When its other branches of government removed him from office last year, it caught Hugo Llorens, the U.S. ambassador, flat-footed. Saving face became the top priority.

I hadn’t known that. Thanks and that is despicable. He’s then simply helping Obama to dismantle America’s strength.

He’s our Delilah.

I knew they helped our Contra effort back in the early 1980’s.

I did not know how strongly they cherish their freedom. I love all freedom loving people, and respect greatly all who are willing to fight to defend it.

I hate all Commies, Dictators and other Thieves.

You realize we who supported the Tea Party are in very good company. Iran Election, Honduras, and the Tea Party visit to Washington & the November election blow out have much in common. Others are watching. I heard from several other countries (including Mexico) during the Honduras phase. Even England and Australia have Tea Party movements now.

It is TIME to expose the frauds who enslave citizens and TIME to establish Just Accountable Leadership. No more Dictators, No more Political Frauds, No more Commies and No more Internationalist Scams.

It is TIME to DownSize DC. It is TIME to defund the UN. It is TIME to hold our POLs who are TRAITORS accountable for their actions. Treason is still a very serious charge.

It is TIME to put the enemies of Freedom on notice that we have had ENOUGH.

This is the reward by one of Obama’s recent appointee’s for Brazil’s Lula. What is it for? It is for helping to re-impose Zelaya in Honduras. (fellow commie dictator)

Sarah Palin was persecuted by the press for even mentioning it, but this is what was happening.

It would have continued but the negative coverage got so bad that the Obamanista’s had to back away.

This was the deal that Sarah Palin got ridiculed in the Media for exposing.

It is even worse than that.

The new head of the Import/Export Bank is a fellow leftie friend of Obozo. From the New School in NY.

Obama has been proven to have been a member of the “New Party” in Chicago.

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=78945

And he recently appointed the Dean of the “New School” in NY as President of the “Export-Import Bank”.

http://www.newschool.edu/Milano/servonblog.aspx?blogmonth=6&blogyear=2009&blogid=2277

“Fred Hochberg, who served as Milano (The New School) dean from 2004 – 2008, has just been sworn in as the 23rd president of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank), the official export credit agency of the United States. In this capacity, Hochberg serves as chairman of the board.

During the Clinton Administration, from 1998 through 2001,Hochberg served as deputy, then acting administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA), where he helped to lead an enhancement of customer service and substantially increased lending to minority and women small-business owners.

We are excited to have a member of the Milano community in such an important position in the Obama Administration.”

This is the bank that made the loan for offshore drilling to Brazil.

“The U.S. government is prepared to provide up to $10 billion in loans to finance the development of massive hydrocarbon reserves off Brazil’s coast, a Brazilian official said Wednesday.

President Barack Obama’s national security adviser, Gen. James Jones, discussed the matter with officials this week during a visit to the South American country, Brazilian Planning Minister Paulo Bernardo da Silva told reporters. He said the U.S. Export-Import Bank already has signed a letter of intent in that regard with Brazilian state oil company Petrobras…”

Sarah Palin took heat for mentioning this, but I would bet that if honestly examined it was one Marxist aiding another Marxist.
