Ping.
That looks too big to be a nurse shark.
I’ve heard of ‘jumping the shark’ - not ‘jumping ON the shark’.
Look for this to become a new sport of vacationing serbian drunks.
Guy in the back is pretty far away. Nothing in the picture to give you scale. The dorsal fin is way back, which excludes an oceanic white tip. That is not a Mako tail. Both of those species are suspects. This fish is clearly neither.
Give a Slav some alcohol and there is no limit to what they can do.
Acutually sorry. All we can see is the belly, not the dorsal.
In this case, he was an overachiever.
"He's not dead, he's restin'"
The Australian would have tried to punch it repeatedly, had he been Albanian he would have tried to mate with it.
It will be submitted to the IOC for consideration, right up there with dwarf tossing and curling.
COntacted IT... it’s on the way.
LMAO Drunken kudos!
Dragan climbed on the jumping board, told me to hold his beer and simply ran to jump. There was no time for me to react or to try to stop him, he just went for it says Milovan. Dragan jumped high and plunged down to the sea, but didnt make as much splash as we thought he would, explained Milovan. The reason could be because Dragan Stevic ended up jumping straight on the shark which was lurking near the beach, probably looking for its next victim. Dragan had nailed it right in the head, killing it instantly. The Egyptian police found the shark washed out on the beach that morning (pictured above).
You really hit the shark on the head with that point.
Bull:
Mako
The name of the place should be Sharm, not Sarm.
Whenever these words are heard, good times follow.
Freaking hilarious.
My BS meter is pegged though.
First, I doubt he killed this shark. The friend only says that he said the water wasn’t soft. It should be something more like “Holy sh-t I jumped on a freaking shark!”
Second, this sure looks like a nurse shark. Check out the size of the pectoral fins in front, and how far back the the dorsal fin is. Also the dorsal fin is above the pelvic fins. It would be easier if we could see all the way to the tail, or if we could see the head better.

Regardless, if this is a nurse shark there are two problems. One, they aren’t really top water fish. Two, from everything I’ve heard their attacks on humans are generally caused by humans messing with them (because of the perception that they are docile).
