Neil Diamond had been eligible for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for several years but never got a nomination to join music's prestigious club. But he was never really worried about it....

What is shameful that groups like Deep Purple and Rush are not in ! But yet, the freak Michael Jackson and Madonna are in and their music really sucks !
I love Neil Diamond songs. I was under 10 when he was popular, but the tunes are still singable. Also, back in the day, he wrote songs that made women feel desired and valued, and sang them with a man’s voice. Who does that today?
Saw Alice Cooper play in Pittsburgh circa 1972, the guy filled Three Rivers Stadium and the place rocked.
I know...isn’t it great?
[and LONG overdue]
All of them?
Slash credits Alice for his start as does Rob Zombie, just to name a couple.
During a KISS bio show, the narrator mentioned Alice and said something to the effect “If one guy in weird makeup is good, *four* should be even better.”.
Alice refers to them all as his “disobedient children”.
;]
I am a die-hard, nearly 4 decade fan.
[I also have two framed “forehead/armpit sweat wiped “Alice bucks” hanging on my living room wall...boy, did I ever have to fight for them]...LOL
Kudos to the man who drove a stake through the heart of the “love generation”.
The first time I saw BOC was at the [former] Cap Center in Largo MD.
The second time was a WV roadhouse where I got to sit on Buck’s Marshall stack for the whole show.
I never saw Alice during his arena days.
As with BOC, I much prefer being up right against the stage in smaller venues.
He gets really “personal” with his fans, these days....LOL
That’s all true about Alice, but he’s also genuine, and, outside his stage persona, surprisingly NORMAL.
ALICE COOPER!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alice is in?
YESSSSSSSS!!!!
Ate at his Phoenix restaurant Sunday night. It was really good and really fun!
