I saw Michele Backmann last night on Freedom Watch. She stated the Democrats are livid about the Estate Tax the most in the extending of the Bush Tax Rates.
She said they could live with everything but the Estate Tax being dropped to 1 Million Taxed at 55%.
Democrats above all don't want people leaving their family money, its immoral to them.
Quite the visual....
Greedy buttheads— that money has already been taxed and they want to steal some more at death...disgusting, greedy and immoral.

An estate is more than just cash. It would include the family home and business too – and it doesn’t take a lot to add up to a $Million. People with assets better have a good estate attorney.
Communists and RINOs are firmly against, eliminating double taxation on SS benefits. Time to roll the drums on this torture.

There should be no estate tax. Its already been taxed.

Democrats do not want “middle class” families building wealth, or “lower” economic classes moving up into “higher” economic classes. They want a nation of drones in Mao hats riding bicycles and an elite class that includes them, heads of industry and celebrities.
I’m even worse at math than I am at grammar and I’m not sure if I understand this properly but...
Wouldn’t one need to take that million in assets and cash, look at all tax receipts through a person’s lifetime, what was the percent in taxes they paid through that lifetime?
Then, add that percent of taxes already paid, to the 55% percent the dems want to take at death. What would THAT percent be?
Am I not understanding or would that be correct?

1) Leftists believe that one's personhood (including one's hopes and aspirations for one's spouse or one's children) is completely extinguished with one's physical death. Upon one's death, one's possessions thus become "unclaimed property" which the State then has a right to immediately seize.
2) Leftists instinctively feel that the State can administer and dispense personal resources (wealth + property) more fairly and more wisely than the actual producer of those resources.
3) For Leftists, the family is merely a temporary economic co-operative whose work is done and whose purpose is completed as soon as the offspring attain the age of majority. (By the same token, they view marriage as a mere legal construct, social contrivance and/or economic convenience.)
4) The Leftist desire to expand the power and influence of the State knows no bounds - thus, any means of furthering that goal are legitimate.

the kennedys legally live in florida, to aviod the Mass high estate taxes. after all, its not about actually paying the taxes if your a liberal, thats up to someone else.
Fine...but let’s start taxing foundations and trusts where the rich Left, such as the Kennedys, hide their money from the IRS.
Why do Democrats hate small ranchers, small farmers and small businessmen? The big guys get hit with the tax. The exemption is just for small enterprises so they aren’t taxed out of the family.
Soros they let run rampant. Nazi’s influencing media, culture, law and politics is fine. But they don’t want an American rancher with 1,000 acres to pass the ranch on to his son.
Amen. We have to take out the left network of non-profits, educational institutions and media outlets. Seriously.
I am working on creating a foundation. I want to place all of my assets, business and personal, in this foundation. All revenue, where possible will go to the foundation’s treasury. I would be entitled to a small stipend as director of the enterprise as well as my children who will be appointed to the board of directors.
I think that when I die, the only thing to change will be for the Board to elect a new chairman/director. Does this sound doable? I believe that this is the way the Kennedy’s have been operating for decades.
If I can come up with the right cause for my foundation, I may actually avoid a significant amount of the taxes I currently am afflicted with.
I really don't have an issue with the estate tax in general, they just need to make the tax under 25 % and the break point on paying them much, much higher and take the burden off the small business owner or rancher/farmer.

Some of the highest salaries in the ‘private’ sector are surely the media morons?
We should demand that they all take a pay cut - and that Congress critters donate their $millions to charity.
There should also be a law: Anyone in elected office should receive only minimum wage.
