Clinton’s smirk says “ Ha ha ha, we’ve got him where we want him, I’m BACK!”

And I wished I could’ve been in a sunny living room in a house in Dallas with the 43rd President, enjoying his goofy laughing at the spectacle.

Forty three may have been laughing but the spectacle ain’t funny! We have gone down the rabbit hole and I am afraid to be amused. I finally understand the meaning of, “Truth is stranger than fiction”. Bill Clinton’s presidency was the beginning of “Bizarro world” and the world grows more bizarre daily. Everything, politics, entertainment, everything is becoming like professional wrestling, I remember when a real effort was made to make wrestling seem like actual fighting, now they don’t bother pretending, it is obviously as fake as can be. It seems as if the media and the politicians no longer bother to pretend either, they simply say and do whatever suits them without any reference at all to reality. I am beginning to wonder if reality exists at all, it hardly seems to be a workable concept any longer.

I don't think that would work. The VP has to meet eligibility requirements to take over as POTUS should anything happen to the Pres.

Bill doesn't meet those requirements.

“No, 0bama resigns...Biden is President...Bill VP”
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Unless they simply declare the constitution null and void Bill cannot be VP anymore than he can be president again. More likely he would be the puppet pulling Biden’s strings, Biden’s pickled brain is not even able to fake sanity, Slick Willy may still be able to fake it enough to “operate” Biden.

The two term or 10 year limit.

0bama resigns and there’s only two years left in the term. Bill could theoretically do it.

Theoretically the argument can be made...he could. What he couldn’t do is run for President in 2012.

The twist is the 10 year service limit. We’re used to seeing it applied to a death in office event.

But the argument could be made otherwise and working it in reverse.

Course it is the liberal mindset of things. Then imagine Biden goes off in the last two years...GOOD GOD...PRESIDENT BILL....AGAIN! LOL.

The two term or 10 year limit.

Where is that stated?

I went and looked up the 22nd but that doesn't cover it.

Just curious, I'd like to know.

Obama won’t be resigning. He could still get reelected believe it or not until the Republicans get their act together.

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once

Let’s have some fun here, really it is just for giggles and how a liberal just might think this through...

First Clinton was elected to two terms, that is his 8 years.

But the funky part is right here:
and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President

There’s the two years where Clinton could serve as Biden’s VP. Plus it states this only applies to “elected,” in this case Clinton would not be “elected,” he would be selected and approved. Clinton didn’t serve more than two years under someone else...although theoretically it appears he could do it now.

We’re used to seeing this work the other way, where a VP finishes up the term due to assassination/resignation and then having two election cycles for a total of 10 years in office.

And the argument could be made since he is technically selected to the VP slot, if something should happen to Biden...he could even serve as President until 2012.

Thereby, keeping the progressives in office.

That's quite a stretch considering the intent of the 22nd.

But today, with decisions like Kelo and Campaign Finance Reform, nothing is beyond the pale and surprises me anymore.

Good observation and thank you for taking the time to explain it.

We do live in some very interesting times, I'm really looking forward to see how this whole thing pans out but my main concern is how the rest of the World is viewing this, this is not good any way you look at it.

Biden’s a stooge, but unlike Barry, he doesn’t hate this country.

Really? Wasn't he like the 2nd or 3rd most liberal goon in the Senate behind Kennedy?

Of course he hates this country... he just isn't as open about it as Obama.

The two years is at the beginning not at the end. If a VP takes over with less than 2 years left into a term (Johnson or Ford) they can get the whole 2 term gig (run twice).

Once they have “served” two terms, they are inelligible.

No worries about Clintoon being POTUS or VPOTUS. Just worry if Obama and Biden quit at the same time. President Pelosi is licking her lips.
