It looks really lame.
I’m sure libs all over the place will flock to the theaters in droves to see it.
I hereby nominate this article to the all-time best titled articles ever list.
Mel Gibson - Beaver Puppet
Simply astounding
Meh, I thought the trailer was OK. It was certainly not as bad as all the stuff I’d pre-heard about the film. I think a lot of folks who justly have doubts about Gibson OFFscreen are transferring those doubts to his acting.
Still, I don’t think I will spend $12.50 to see it.
Jodie’s a pretty smart cookie, iinm. Probably is a good film.
You were a little hard on the beaver last night, Mel.
Beyond ludicrous.
*groan* But give props to Jodie Foster for seeming to stick by him (I guess!). Mel was a favorite of mine, but he needs to just retire already. Nobody needs to see him and he certainly doesn’t need the money. I think in time he can start directing again and stay behind the camera for the rest of his career.
Trailer seems good. At least it’s not about cowboys and pudding.
I’m not sure what pushed Mel Gibson over the edge of sanity but his once thriving movie career is pretty much over due to his insane actions in real life that expose him as a racist bully - and that’s putting a polite twist on it. I seriously doubt this somewhat strange movie with another odd Hollywood personality, Jodie Foster, as the director and co-star will change Mel’s fortunes or his perception with the public as a nasty jerk, albeit a rich, good-looking nasty jerk.
So I heard that Mel and Jodie were reuniting for “Beaver”...and I thought, “Mel is a lucky, lucky man.”
You may have some copyright issues here. Sue him!
And the name of the film is......
....drum roll.....
Leave it to Beaver.
Now there is a headline I never expected to see.
(should "beaver" be capitalized?)
The film was directed by Jodie Foster, who co-stars as Gibson's wife MeredithUh, okay. :') Thanks Argus.
