I remember reading a newspaper story years ago about a guy who had a persistent headache. He went to a doctor and discovered he had been shot in the head. He had no idea that he had been shot. He realized that he had been shot when drunk and driving home from the bar. He stopped at some railroad tracks where some guy walked up to his vehicle and demanded his money. He told him off and thought nothing about the popping noise he heard as he drove away. The bullet hit his head on the left side, went through the skin, traveled under the skin up and around the crown of his head and either exited or lodged on the right side of his head (I don’t remember whether it was still there or exited). And he had no idea.
God watches over fools.
