Could have replied with this.
A DOG FOR JESUS
I wish someone had given Jesus a dog
As loyal and loving as mine
To sleep by His manger and gaze in His eyes
And adore Him for being divine.
As our Lord grew to manhood His faithful dog
Would have followed Him all through the day
While He preached to the crowds and made the sick well
And knelt in the garden to pray.
It is sad to remember that Christ went away
To face death alone and apart
With no tender dog following close behind
To comfort its Master’s Heart.
And when Jesus rose on that Easter morn
How happy He would have been
As His dog kissed His hands and barked its delight
For The One who died for all men.
Well, the Lord has a dog now, I just sent Him mine
The old pal so dear to me
And I smile through my tears on this first day alone
Knowing they’re in eternity.
Day after day, the whole day through
Wherever my road inclined
Four feet said, “I am coming with you!”
And trotted along behind.
Dang, something’s wrong with my monitor, too!
Thank you!!!
Dang!
Sweet...
I did enjoy it very much thank you. I hope her parents got her another dog right away. People are so hurt when a pet dies, that they think they can never love another one, but another one to love is just what they need. The lucky ones among us (like me) get to out live many animals and there is no shortage of animals that need us.
I remember getting this e-mail a few years ago. Really is a tear-jerker!
Awww ... very special story.
(sniff ..)

I hope no one minds this ping - usually the MA articles are "bad" news - here's an uplifting story. Only thing is if God wants pockets, I'm sure He can have pockets...
;)
Thank you for sharing....I feel like the world isn’t as rotten as I some times feel it is...........excuse me, I have to go blow my nose now.
Awe..so bitter sweet. Thanks for the ping.
I'd like to share this link with you, too: Tribute to James
The pics at the end, with James/me and James/hubby are the last we took with him before the hardest thing and the right thing became the same thing, a year ago this month.

Beautiful.
Father will bless someone who has such a loving, and caring heart.
Can’t see good...screen must need cleaning.
Danged screen isn’t working right. It’s keeps getting all blurry.....
That’s one of the sweetest things I’ve ever read.
What a beautiful story. Missed it yesterday and am glad I saw it today.
It’s definitely true. My dog died in July, and I was absolutely heartbroken. She was my best friend for 15 1/2 years. In the weeks following her death, I was very depressed. In October, I got another dog, and I feel like my girl sent her to me from Heaven. It has helped tremendously with the grief, and I look forward to spending many years with her. When she passes, I’ll take a little time, and then I’ll open my heart to another.
This was a great story. I believe God sent that letter to that little girl through a good samaritan, letting her know her dog is in Heaven.
