Mrs Young, 75, said: Ive worked all my life. It doesnt feel fair. People my age dont want to put hats and scarves on in their homes, but theres nothing we can do about it.Yes there is. Try storming Parliament with torches and pitchforks.

After a week of snow and freezing temperatures a shocking picture has emerged of the bleak months ahead for 5.5 million households. Obviously human caused global warming at work here.

Back when I was in high school, the libtards were whining about global cooling which was going to kill us all unless we turned over control of the economy to them. They called it the "greenhouse effect". Then the world got warmer and it was the same thing under the guise of "global warming."
I wish the libtards would start whining about the "greenhouse effect" again. It is a lot cheaper to cool the house than to warm it here in SW Pennsylvania.

And how much of the increase in energy cost is due to Britain’s stupid infatuation with controlling and reducing carbon emissions? I would bet virtually all of it.

They're not cold. They're toasting and the ice caps are melting, and women and minorities will be hardest hit. I know because I read Mann's data analysis.

This is the INTENDED CONSIQUENCE of the liberal push for inflated energy prices via high government taxation on fuel and electricity. This is liberalism.

About half of the people forced to spend over 10 per cent of their income on energy bills - the official definition of fuel poverty -are aged over 60. That seems a low threshold; I would think energy expense of 10 percent is not entirely unreasonable.

The author and editor will probably be fired. Why? They say something close to truth here:
“(Icecap Note: the age of Dickens was during the Dalton Minimum, with very similar solar conditions to the last several years. Many solar scientists now believe we have entered another Dalton like minimum or worse.)”
That’s not allowed. They were supposed to Blame Bush, capitalism, “global warming,” cars, “rich nations,” etc. Must not have gotten the memo.
