He won the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, the first European in 40 years to do so, and was a Ryder Cup hero. I've got to run. McDowell bogied 14 to give one back and both shot par on the par-3 15th. That leaves McDowell up one with three to play. 16 is a tough par-5.

Ill check back later tonight. Looks like many are watching football today, lol.

That was an amazing finish. G Mc was strong to the end and committed to every shot. That drop on 17 was gutsy to say the least.

He’s got a goofy swing, but he’s definitely a competitor. Reminds me of Furyk that way.

Tiger finished the season without a win his first since he joined the PGA back in 1996.

Back?........ Well he’s good but back to his dominance of the past I’m not sure...........

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - U.S. Open champion Graeme McDowell capped off his greatest year by putting together the greatest comeback ever against Tiger Woods in the Chevron World Challenge.

Woods looked as though he would recover from losing a four-shot lead Sunday when he stuffed his approach to inside 3 feet on the 18th hole, but McDowell knocked in a 20-foot birdie putt that forced a playoff.

On the first extra hole, McDowell again made a birdie putt from 20 feet. This time, Woods couldn’t match him. His 15-foot birdie putt slid by on the right, and Woods ended a calendar year without winning.

This event was meaningless since it wasn’t a Championship event.

I think he’s grown a resistance to the latest batch of roids.
