I have to really watch the sugar content so I’ll have to check it out. Thanks!
All that hurry-up and wait must have worn heavily on both of you! Take some time to relax now. At least an hour or so. ;)
I'm sure you'll both be glad when it is totally over with! Prayers will continue!
LOL
Well ... she has come to the thread once or twice to see what I might have said about her. :)
I don’t think she will know what “she can also be a trial sometime.” means.
If yorkie reads this, I picked up that Wii tablet at WalMart today. The first Walmart we checked were sold out.
Amy, its so good to hear from you and to know things are alright. We all have been very concerned. Marissa will get over it...kids just don’t quite understand. We know she loves her gramps and wouldn’t want anything to happen to him.
Good luck to Mr. Just on the treadmill test. You have to be in fair shape to have that. Last time, I had a chemical test because of my hip. And I didn’t like that! But I don’t like the treadmill test either! I have a treadmill and can’t use it much because of the darned hip thing.
You all take it easy if you can and things will eventually cool down!
Thanks, Jaycee. Marissa is doing fine. She had been worried about grampa. She is now giving him a bad time about getting his chest shaved. :)
I feel good because the doctors are on top of this. They will not rush into this surgery until they feel it is safe to do it.
Thank you for the prayers.
The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray:
‘Take only ONE . God is watching.’
Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.
A child had written a note, ‘Take all you want. God is watching the apples.’
Billie .... thank you for posting today’s Opener. I had hoped to get something posted this morning, but we had an earlier than I expected appt.
Thank everyone for helping out.
Absolutely! Its good to know that they want to make sure his heart was good before surgery. As we get older, they do that. I had to have a hysterectomy about 7 years ago and since I had previously had a small heart problem and had prior angioplasty, my gynecologist insisted I have a cardiac catherization before he would operate on me. I was very disgusted but I had it done anyway. All was okay and I had the operation about 10 days later. Its better to be safe than sorry! Guess we should be thankful! And I know you are!
LOL! Cute!
Amy, I am SO greatful that you and Mr. Just are HOME! (I’ll bet he’s sitting in his recliner, already!)
I hope Marissa gets a chance to see all the lovely cards that her FRiends made for her yesterday - hoping to fill her time, and give her some smiles, as she sat at home - without her Gramps and Gramma.
Enjoy your evening - and grab all the chocolate chip cookies you can!
