Dwight L. Moody said, “When a man thinks he has got a good deal of strength, and is self-confident, you may look for his downfall. It may be years before it comes to light, but it is already commenced.” This was true of King Uzziah.
Everything seemed to be going so well in his life. He was obedient, submitted to spiritual mentorship, and sought God’s guidance during most of his reign. As long as he asked God for help, God gave him great success—evidenced by his many accomplishments (2 Chron. 26:3-15).
Uzziah’s life was one of great power and human success until he became blinded by it. His pride was evidenced in several ways: he challenged God’s holiness by trespassing the temple and presuming upon a position he would never be able to have (v.16); he viewed God’s power as good but not absolutely necessary for his leadership (vv.5,16); he refused godly correction and counsel (vv.18-19); he bypassed his opportunity to repent; and he ignored, instead of feared, the consequences of his sin (vv.18-19).
When God gives us success in any area of our lives, let’s not forget the Source of our success. May we choose humility, for God gives grace to the humble.

Amy, you and Mr.Just must be exhausted, and then to have to turn around and go back over to the hospital today. I am sorry this has turned into such an ordeal for both of you. I hope today goes much better. I will keep praying for you all.
I hope to hear from Amy soon, that the surgery went well, and they are back home - and looking forward to some relaxing days ahead.
I'm going to look after posting this to see if I should post the WFW opening or not.

I just talked to Amy as she and Mr.Just were on their way to the hospital for some tests. She wanted everyone to know how much they appreciate prayers offered up for them, but she also wanted you all to know that there really is nothing to worry about at this point. The doctors are being overly cautious in making sure that Mr.Just can safely undergo the procedure. Since it is an elective procedure, it can safely be postponed indefinitely if necessary.
It's been quite an ordeal for them, but it is reassuring to know that the doctors are being so thorough and cautious. Amy says that, even though all is well at this point, continued prayers will be appreciated, and that she is hoping to be back at Amy's Place soon.
Precious graphic and I love that video! I saw the movie and loved it! Its nice to see a real happy movie sometimes. I didn’t get to be on yesterday...like everyone I suppose, I will be busy from now on.
I had other things I preferred to do today but I must get my book work finished. The sons came yesterday evening late and we got the tree up, all but the ornaments. I like to do that of course! We did some more decorating and its beginning to look a little like Christmas.
I have been so worried about Amy and Mr. Just and of course Marissa. She loves her grandpa and as Amy said “she likes to be his nurse when he gets finished.”

Love your sweet graphic! So glad you’re getting your decorating done. We got a great start yesterday and I will do the rest as the days go by. Have other stuff to do today like my beloved bookwork! LOL! I am about to get started on that job, but first I made a big pot of chili this morning and it is cooking slowly! Smells too good!
