Times have changed and wonderful advancements in the medical world!
Prayers for Barbara and for you as well, Polly! *hugs*
We had my nearly 12 year companion, Jack, put down on Monday. His age caught up to him with increasing arthritis & incontinence. I sure miss him.
So sorry about your dog, Jack! It hurts real bad I know. You will surely miss him but he’s at Rainbow Bridge with all our dogs and kitties who have left us, too. But its very hard, I know.
I’m up late as I have some plumbing problems and got all upset and decided to stay up until I got calmed down a bit. I will call my plumber early in the morning. Hate these things. He was here last Thursday (day before Christmas Eve.) When you have a home, these things happen to all of us and we have to get them fixed and move on.
Goodnight All! I should say Good Morning as its now 1:00 AM.
Please accept my condolences, DD.
It is so difficult to lose a long time companion. Know that he will be greeted at Rainbow Bridge by many other loved pets.
Prayers being offered for you.
Hi Diver Dave
I’m very sorry to hear of your dog, Jack, passing. They truly are our best companions.
My best to you and your family.

How it hurts to lose a dear pet..My sympathies over your loss of Jack, DD.
At last we are on at the same time! Good Morning, GeeBee.
WOW Great pictures, yorkie! Hope it warms up enough to clear roads today.
I loved the romp in the snow videos yesterday.
Thank you, pam..I hope you and d’Ogee are snug and warm in the storm.
I am going to try to get my taxes paid today..instead of a mad dash tomorrow to get them in the mail..so I’ll be busy digging into paperwork..(Hope I find the tax bills..LOL)
It’s going to hit 70s today..Hate to waste a warm day on paperwork.
Looks like my daughter’s beloved Chip..now departed..Loved that dog. He was so beautiful.
Thank you, Amy>>Indeed it is..Love this beautiful graphic!!
(((HUGS)))
In a letter to his son Eduard, Albert Einstein gave this advice: Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving. The great physicists advice is wise and practical.
This wise counsel can apply to the Christian life. Many believers by faith keep moving ahead through painful and trying circumstances. But when they experience a personal moral failure, they lose their balance and fall. Their regret and feeling of unworthiness of Gods forgiveness may then keep them down and they no longer move ahead in their spiritual life.
The Bible gives us many examples of those who have experienced serious personal failure. Abraham lied to Pharaoh about his wife, Sarah (Gen. 12:11-17). Jacob deceived his father to acquire Esaus blessing (Gen. 27:18-29). Moses disobeyed God by striking the rock instead of speaking to it (Num. 20:7-12). Despite their failures, we are told: all these . . . obtained a good testimony through faith (Heb. 11:39).
These biblical characters are lifted up as examples because after they fell, they turned back to God and began to follow Him again. Have you lost your spiritual balance through a sinful choice, which is keeping you down? Repent and follow the God of second chances once again.
Thank you Meg. I am forwarding all these notes on to sister.
We are trusting God.
I know its bothersome, but its so pretty, isn’t it? I have been trying to watch your weather in Sedona. Its predicting more snow and more winds tonight, I believe! You taught me how to do that weather thing when you pulled up Bristol about a year ago! As long as you don’t have to travel, be like me....just stay in until it clears. It won’t last forever even though it seems so at the time! Take care! (((Hugs)))
I’ve already had the plumber today and this sewer thing was on the City’s part so my plumber called the City and they came out and fixed it. But you see, it came up in the downstairs shower and came up in the commode in the same bathroom. Water like that gets under the vinyl tile and some has seeped through the edge of my den carpet. It can seep for days. I have a call in to my insurance company now. If you wanna know the truth, I’m sick to death with it. I stayed up until 2 this morning and got up at 6 and I’m worn out.
JC, I couldn’t travel if I wanted to! I have the scanner on, and the roads are covered with thick ice. Cars are all over the place, on their sides and upside down, and in ditches. Just a few minutes ago, there was a three car collision, with injuries just five minutes from here.
Tonight, the temp will drop to the 20’s in PHOENIX!
Interstate 40, which runs east and west out of Flagstaff has been shut down for 200 miles!
Re: your plumbing problem - if the City fixed it, that means they are admitting responsibility. Shouldn’t they pay for all repairs?
I am so sorry about your precious sister, Barbara. That breast cancer can be fought and your sister can win if all goes well. Breast cancer has touched me. I had 2 aunts who had it and they both lived through it and lived a long life. They each had a breast removed. I had a good friend who had the same surgery and she beat that thing and is now living a comfortable life. My friend's was about 15 years ago. I will remember you and Barbara in my prayers daily and you keep us informed!!!
Good Morning Jaycee!!!
So sorry about those plumbing problems. I hate plumbing and car problems both.
Thank you so much for your prayers concerning my sister. She is much more upbeat than me right now! I came home tired from my trip and was exhausted already when the news came.
Trusting God......
