Forgot to use my < br >s....darn it! Makes me mad...LOL! Oh, well, goodness, none of us has EVER done that before! Just you. :)

My best friend and hubby lived up in a mountainous area like that and neither one of them were afraid. Men usually aren’t but sometimes women are but Nancy sure wasn’t afraid. She is no longer with us. She had been a diabetic since her 20’s and developed heart trouble and it took her earlier than most of us. Her father had the same condition and died early and suddenly too! I miss her!

Thank you, yorkie. You’re getting snow in AZ tomorrow? I think AMy said it’s snowing at her house, too! None here yet - we may get a few flurries this weekend.
To: Billie

You learn to get over the fear if you're ever gonna go somewhere.
Sorry to hear about your friend's early passing.

LOL! I didn't think about how it would look if the picture didn't post! Thanks, Amy.
I need to get in the kitchen and see which leftovers to have tonight. I shouldn't have to cook "new" stuff for days!
I'll be back later tonight!

Cold outside here. Sir Winston prefers more moderate temps. His little body is so close to the ground he chills easily. We've had him out in snow, but up to this point we haven't had a snowfall worthy of the name. The big Eastern Blizzard left us with a measly one inch.
We have several doggie cloaks, etc. - he wears them indoors if we don't have the thermostat set to his specifications.

"Youll be chilled to the bone!"And how in the world do you know that??? :)

Want to reply to both of you instead of repeating. That happened in 2004. It started snowing after dark on Christmas Eve and one of us went outside and saw the ground was already covered!
It continued all night and by Christmas morning it was a Winter Wonderland. My kids and grandkids were here. Piper was 2yrs old but didn’t like walking in it, lol.
We south Texans aren’t used to that, much less on Christmas, and it was really a special time. Thanks for your comments.

[Had one here too.]
It’s a sad thing, we did have some very funny things happen and couldn’t help laughing. It will be her last ‘half’ lucid Christmas.

I’m reading about Sir Winston and all seemed pretty understandable, till I got to the”if we don’t have the thermostat set to “HIS” specifications”! I burst out laughing!! It’s a “Well, excuse me” LOL! Just kidding! I think perhaps some dog is SPOILED?? :)

I imagine it was quite SPECIAL living in Texas. Through the years I can remember some white Christmases...some with just a touch of snow but the big ones were always so special. Seems as if everyone hopes for a White Christmas every year! It snowed here Christmas Eve night and Christmas day and it didn’t amount to much.....BUT it has continued to snow some since then! Looks as if now we are going to have a bit of rest from the snow and are glad of it. But there will be more to come if its anything like last year!

A few times a winter would be just right to me. Enough to enjoy - and no more, lol.

I thought that statement "We have several doggie cloaks, etc. - he wears them indoors if we don't have the thermostat set to his specifications." was quite funny, too, but very cute! We love our animals and spoil them to death! After all, they give us ALL their love!
