we are in Oregon... had a lovely train ride. Next day I woke up with one of my infamous bladder infections. Thankfully my doctor faxed a prescription to this wee town of Oakridge Oregon where sister and brother in law live.
Rains at home have me concerned for our river rock retaining walls.
Loves to ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yorkie... we are HERE in Oregon. I am just trying to take a few moments and scan briefly through the posts. I had to chuckle when I saw this photo. I told sis that this would be a good graphic for a CHristmas letter next year, and then noticed it was from you to ME!!! LOL
Beautiful BEAUTIFUL trip....watching snow out the train window, and gorgeous snow laden pines!!
How beautiful, Gail! Thank you very much!!
Polly, I’ve been praying for a safe trip for you and your family, as I watch the weather channel! WOA! SOOoooooooo much snow! I’m so thankful you are there safely!
Merry Christmas, FR-sis!
Glad you all arrived safely and had a good trip! We were kind of worried with ALL that snow!! Merry Christmas!! *HUGS*!
Pardon me for using my post to you as a post to all. I let myself get behind on Christmas preparations and now am suffering for it, lol.
Everyone has pinged me to beautiful graphics and lovely words and I am grateful for the ‘forgiving’ friends here. After Christmas I hope to get back into the groove and thank each individually.
Enjoy the holidays with your family!
We'll leave a light on for you! :)

I finally got onto FR...and now I am so tired, I just want to go to bed!
Then, DO it gurl!
See you tomorrow - and “Sweet Dreams!”
Ummmmm...it's late and you're tired?
Gee...I can't imagine why! ;)
For that last minute dessert
I prefer the chocolate crust to the graham for the peanut butter pie. This is a basic recipe of sour cream, cream cheese, and cool whip, that you can change the ingredients to and you have a different pie. I’ve used strawberries, coconut, oreo’s etc. in the mix. You may want a little more sugar than I use, depending on which ingredient you use. It can be double batched, with 1 pie left frozen for about a month.
Peanut Butter Pie
Low fat sour cream and cream cheese can be used.
1-8 oz cream cheese (softened)
8 oz sour cream
2/3rd cups peanut butter
1/4th cup sugar (optional)
1—8 oz. tub cool whip
Chocolate syrup
1-9 inch chocolate or graham cracker crust
Combine peanut butter, cream cheese, sour cream, sugar in large mixing bow on low speed; fold in cool whip; mix until smooth; place into crust. Freeze until firm. Drizzle with chocolate syrup just before you cut it (while it is still slightly frozen.) Store in Fridge.
If your physician called you and in a serious voice said, Please come in as soon as you can. I have something to discuss with you, you would know he has bad news! Your first response might be, No, I dont want to know. But you go because it is only when you know the diagnosis that you can learn the cure.
God, our Great Physician, also has some bad newsabout mans spiritual condition. When against His expressed warning Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, God told Adam that all mankind would die spiritually and physically. Thats the bad news.
But He also gave the solution. He promised a Savior (Gen. 3:15). The apostle John tells us, Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17). But how does that help? Jesus came that first Christmas to bring Gods grace, something that none of us deserve because like Adam we have all sinned. But Jesus also came to reverse what sin brought. He came to be the truth (John 14:6) that would bring us back to God. He came to save His people from their sins (Matt. 1:21).
Listen to what the Great Physician has to say in the Bible about your spiritual condition. Then accept the cure He has providedthe gift of salvation through Christ.
