Ditto!
:)
I love this jaycee..
It’s been mild cold to warm here lately..I dread ice coming.
Thanks Meg. I believe I posted this last Christmas! Its so sweet and the real meaning of Christmas.
I have hated this ice thing. The weather forecast was wrong again....it was supposed to be melted by noon....the news now says we will freeze again tonight. We have really had a bad streak of terribly cold weather lately! If we could just get a couple of days around 65 to 70 I would be very happy! It has happened before.
Thanks Jaycee, God Bless and have a great Christmas.
That is wonderful...kind of makes the tears start.
During a devotional session at a conference, our leader asked us to read aloud 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, and substitute the word Jesus for love. It seemed so natural to say, Jesus suffers long and is kind; Jesus does not envy; Jesus does not parade Himself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek His own . . . . Jesus never fails.
Then our leader said, Read the passage aloud and say your name instead of Jesus. We laughed nervously at the suggestion. I want you to begin now, the leader said. Quietly, haltingly I said the words that felt so untrue: David does not seek his own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. David never fails.
The exercise caused me to ask, How am I hindering God from expressing His love through me? Do I think that other expressions of faith are more important? Paul declared that from Gods perspective, eloquent speech, deep spiritual understanding, lavish generosity, and self-sacrifice are worthless when not accompanied by love (vv.1-3).
God longs to express His great heart of love for others through us. Will we allow Him to do it?
I agree, Gail!
Speaking of tears, Gail, Blue Christmas always gets to me. The tears do fall.....it makes me know how much I miss my husband. He loved the Christmas season so much and made it fun for everyone. My sons and I have been talking about ‘Daddy’ a lot this week. We get along well except for these holidays. We all do very well though and have fun as we know he would be doing the same thing.
One more thing, I love, love Elvis and his version of Blue Christmas, too! Graceland looks so beautiful in your picture!

I know what you mean, Gail.....I've been using Kleenex all morning.
:) Thank you.
Well, you really did it! I’ve been sniffling around here all morning and when I watched this one, the dam burst wide open and I’m crying like a baby. Don’t get me wrong, I loved every moment of it.....its just I’m going to have to get hold of myself if I accomplish anything today!
Thank you yorkie!
God Bless Our Heroes and their families each day!
This is Wonderful news, Rus. I know it will rank right up there as the Best Christmas ever. Please thank him for his service; all of us at Amy’s Place appreciate his service.
Have a Blessed Christmas.
Thank you JC. I didn’t mean to make anyone cry - but...
I sat here watching it, and my heart just swelled with love for our heroes.
(I think I went through a half box of Kleenex.........)
