The one needed 12 stitches in his lip after being hit by an elbow while playing basketball with friends. Poor baby.

Poor Bucky. LOL! If I were a player, that would be a bit of an incentive. Has he ever not been able to do it?

Actually, in the game referenced in the article, he had to be relieved by a back-up. (I think there are 4 guys that rotate with the mascot duties.)

INDEED.
Part of me wonders if the TSA stuff isn’t a complex probing of just how much the body politic will tolerate at this point in time . . . so they can better gauge when and how to implement worse tyranny.

He's doing very well. He's been working out and running or biking every day. Going to school, taking lots of math & science. He wants to go to pharmacy school as soon as he has all the pre reqs done.(His degree from Madison was in political science but he wants to go in a different direction.)
He's thinking about re-enlisting; will decide in a month or two. He's thinking about joining the Army's pharmacist program.

I’m afraid I haven’t kept up very well. Has his significant other become permanent?

I’m very sorry to hear that. When my kids have gone through a break up, I have been amazed that I go through a time of mourning as well.
I’ve been searching over at ESPN, at it was the first time I’ve been there since the Mississipi State brouhaha has broken, and couldn’t find it. I’m glad you explained it.
I need to go do some things. I’ve been lazy today.

Yes, it was very hard; we all loved Katie and it was a shock, to say the least.:(
But she has issues, some we never knew about. It's for the best.

Yes, it is for the best, although at the time it is hard. JT found his Bride after have a girlfriend named Katie. We loved her, but they were not suited. The Bride is a beautiful, godly woman who is perfect for JT. I pray it will be so for Ev.
Maybe it is the name.

Hi Gang! I hope everyone had a great Turkey Day. It was Barb's and My first one together and we went over to a Masonic Friend's home for a small dinner. Beforehand, I worked in the shop.
Jack and his buddy drove home this morning, leaving at 2 AM and getting in before 10 AM. He was not too enthralled with his Mom.
We had a tragedy at home. One of Jack's parakeets, Vicky, was dead at the bottom of the cage this morning. Skipper was missing his tail feathers and upset. I don't think that any cat was involved, but it was a sad homecoming for Jack.
I installed one set of kayak lifts last evening and have my kayak stored under the carport. I will do Jack's tomorrow morning. I am also going to start the posts and girders for the mezzanine tomorrow as well. I did get my Shopsmith upgraded to the new power unit and boy is it sweet!
