One of America's most extreme communist organizations, the Workers World Party held a national convention in New York, November 13 and 14 2010.
One member, Florida based Cuban-American Mike Martinez fired up the crowd with an original poem. Martinez openly condoned violence against Tea Party activists and called for armed revolution, "people's war" and firing squads for "greedy" bosses.
Martinez also "rapped" that Lakota activists, armed with AK47s were preparing for war in the Dakotas and that New Black Panther Party "comrades" were ready to start "uprisings" in ghettos across America. (VIDEO) at link Some transcriptions from Martinez's poem. Emphasis added.

Martinez's rantings should not be dismissed lightly. The Workers World Party has been around since 1959 and has a significant presence in many major U.S. cities.
The W.W.P. supports North Korea and has very close ties to Cuba.
In the 1970s, many Party members worked closely with the terrorist Weather Underground. Several W.W.P. cadre, for instance attended the Weathermen's February 1976 National Hard Times Conference in Chicago, with the likes of Jennifer Dohrn, sister of W.U.O. leader Bernardine Dohrn.
Another prominent W.U.O. leader, Bernardine Dohrn's husband Bill Ayers, was involved in at least one W.W.P. front while living in New York in the early 1980s.
The W.W.P. apparently believes that major instability is looming in the U.S. and mean to take full advantage of it. They will likely be in the thick of any violence that may break out on American streets in the coming months and years.
If the F.B.I. is doing its job, it will have a record of the name and address of every single W.W.P. leader on file.
For America's sake, I hope they do.

One of the reasons I have an AK. Seems to shoot well enough and is bullet proof. My son, Army, likes it much more than his M-16. He likes the heavier round, the durability and the weapons ability to keep firing in all kinds of environments w/o needing incessant cleaning. I like it because if the SHTF I can scrounge from the likely enemy and keep after em.
Fastest only counts if you can hit your target with that first quick shot. Let's see who scores the first hit...

It does make some sense to put a red dot scope on an AK for rapidly being able to put the red dot on the target and hitting the target with the AK's typical accuracy of a 6 inch group size at 100 yds when engaging targets up to a max of 200 yds.
But putting a regular scope on an AK that you actually expect to use for serious encounters is a stupid thing to do, in my humble opinion.
Mounting a regular scope on an AK requires some type of side mount that adds weight and size, and ruins the AK's quick handling. Plus getting the crosshairs on the target is much slower than using iron sights or a red dot scope.
Plus, I would think that if things really went down the enemy would be shooting like this.
They would for sure be dangerous if attacking in large numbers at close range, but have no discipline and no sense of tactics. It would be pretty intense for a while, but if we keep our cool with proper discipline and used proper tactics, lots of them would be dying in droves...
When and if the hard Left shows its hand, my only fear is that patriots will make such short work of them that we will miss an opportunity to really extirpate collectivism from our shores. Everyone should keep a little unwritten list of statist politicians and other local troublemakers deserving of special attention when the balloon goes up.

Seriously, the enemy has no combat discipline and no staying power. Not used to a hard life in the field where screwing upgets you and the people in your unit killed. Not used to staying alert on watch, maintaining good camouflage and security, practicing proper field sanitation, etc.

Odd coincidence that I spent the day at my range club with my son. Time well spent sighting in my treasured Win M70(Palma) and a Ruger International in .270 (meat gun). After a day of being surrounded by true hearted genuine Americans (not the usual nutlickers at the golf course), the rambling of these turds warmed my heart.
