2010 White House Christmas

Posted on 11/26/2010 3:28:06 PM PST by MA~Bear

Hi All,

I tried searching around and I will be darn if I can find any mention of what the White House Christmas Theme would be this year. I know that they received the tree but that is all I can find. No notice on HDTV about decorating the White House, Couldn't find what the Christmas Card will Look Like, etc. Seems really strange, As far as I can remember they First Ladies have always had a theme and card selected early in the year. Can anyone point me in the right direction. The only thing that turned up on Whitehouse.gov was the tree being received.

Thanks Ma~Bear :-)

Christmas will be here before you know it, so get going and get the decorations out :-)

I heard on KFI a little while ago that the White House Christmas tree arrived ... you could hear Michelle saying to one of the kids, "Here's OUR tree."

OUR tree??? Gee, Michelle, nice to know that you think that We The People bought you YOUR tree -- just like everything else to which you think you're entitled!

Mrs. Laura Bush announced themes within a few days of greeting the growers of current year’s tree. Not sure if this is/was standing tradition.

Sorry if this is disappointing, there are no Christians who inhabit the White House right now, the folks there will not be celebrating that holiday.

You might watch for news about Quanza, if your interested.
