So what. If it is not on regular cable, but pay-per-view, I could care less.

It looks like Verizon is doing the same garbage Romney did at Marriott.

Must be nice to be able to access multiple cable suppliers.
We only have one.
Does that spark price competition?
I’ve heard good things about FIOS.

To: DownInFlames
Sounds expensive when you consider how much porn is available free or at much cheaper cost on the web.
FIOS porn doesn’t come with malware perils, though.
We take it there weren’t any titles to your taste?

To: DownInFlames
Sorry DownInFlames, that last question was directed to Tribune7.

To: Tribune7
I take it you object to that thing being available?
You’re free do not subscribe to the service at all, or use the controls to make sure it’s blocked.
Or are you one of those people that wants this unavailable to everyone because you object to it?

I take it you object to that thing being available? I do. Maybe if it wasn't on by default or had been advertised as a feature I'd be less inclined. But FIOS certainly comes on as family friendly.
Or are you one of those people that wants this unavailable to everyone because you object to it?
 You watch this stuff?

No.
But, I also firmly believe I don’t have the freedom to make a choice for everyone else. I suppose if you didn’t like firearms they should be banned too then??

You know, you should really demand the government do something about this. Maybe the government should take over all TV mediums and only offer big-brother approved programming. We as consumers, after all, are too dumb to make purchasing decisions ourselves.

I suppose if you didnt like firearms they should be banned too then?? If I didn't understand that firearms were held by our Founders as a specific necessity for our freedom and that time has shown their thinking to be quite correct, I might.
Did our Founders feel that way about porn?

Did our Founders feel that way about porn? You should read some of Ben Franklin's writings under some of his pseudonyms.

You should read some of Ben Franklin's writings under some of his pseudonyms. He was at the Constitutional Convention and there is no evidence of him proposing a "right to bear porn", so he must not have felt all that strong about it.

Liberals cannot watch that sort of stuff.
They’re not “adult” enough.

They proposed speech not restricted by government’s control. His writing, by societal standards, was considered quite raunchy for its day.
