You should read some of Ben Franklin's writings under some of his pseudonyms. He was at the Constitutional Convention and there is no evidence of him proposing a "right to bear porn", so he must not have felt all that strong about it.

They proposed speech not restricted by government’s control. His writing, by societal standards, was considered quite raunchy for its day.
