Oof. That was rough. This game is always a long game.
Very ominous start for Auburn...three and out.
Unfortunately, that was a very good pass. We were no where near.
It might be over by the first quarter.
Last year during this game, I was visiting my 86-year-old mother in a nursing home in Daphne, AL. As I rolled her through the halls, the tv’s in every room were set to the Iron Bowl and the sound echoed through the hallways.
My sister and I took Mama out for some air and the game was on radio even out in the courtyard.
It was one of the last times I was with her as she had a stroke and passed away a week later. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to watch the Iron Bowl without thinking of her now.
I wasn’t raised in Alabama and I didn’t attend either school so I don’t really have a dog in the hunt other than I like to watch good football. Sure seems like Alabama has the early advantage but there should be a lot more scoring.
