LINKSHARE is presently recruiting a "limited" number of Mystery Shoppers.
POSITION TITLE: Regional Mystery Shopper Needed
AVAILABILITY: Open
Yadda yadda...
Can anyone tell me what this is? Is this legitimate or not? There are lots of websites out there about this company and what they do, but honestly, I have no idea what they're talking about. I could really use some extra money, and I've heard of friends of friends who've done similar "mystery shopper" evaluations and have been paid, but can any FReepers lend thoughts about any experience with this group?
I've been with FR for quite a number of years, and I'm not advertising **at all.** I just would like to hear what my FRiends think and if you know anything about this company.
Thank you.
It’s an internet shopping network with thousands of products from hundreds of companies. Many times when you see ads on a website, many of these are done through a shopping network like linkshare. The web owner joins the shopping network, places some code on their website, and the ads are loaded each time someone views their page.
Not sure about the mystery shopper opportunity, but it is probably just being offered through the linkshare network.
I used to do mystery shopping and inspection of gas stations and movie theaters. It didn’t pay much but then I didn’t need much back then :)
I have no idea bout this Linkshare company but I’ve seen enough scams to think this is a scam.
I think it’s a web site for “kielbasa”...we stretch out the links...I take mine and you can have yours...that’s “linkshare”
The email says they are looking for someone to report via surveys and perform evaluation exercises on behalf of GUESTLINK®.
???
Sounds like a scam, or telemarketer subterfuge to me.
Linkshare is legitimate - I’ve been a publisher of theirs for awhile now and have had no problems. I do not see “GuestLink” as one of their advertisers. I don’t know what that means necessarily but it might be wise to be cautious. Hope that’s some help.
Crud. My email said 300 bucks.
*sigh*
Avoid Secret/Mystery Shopper Scams
LinkShare has no "secret shopper" or "mystery shopper" program, and we never have. If you are approached about such a program, please know that it in no way involves LinkShare, and it is a not legitimate enterprise. If you have been a victim of one of these scams then please file a complaint at the Internet Crime Complaint Center."
Thank you and thanks everyone. Even though 300 dollars was nice in my dreams, it sounded too easy to make.
