That pic looks more like a sideways than a forward tilt to me. A sideways tilt is beckoning among both man and beast. But a backward tilt would tend to emphasize the size of a man’s chin, while a forward tilt would minimize chin size.
That makes sense to me: A small chin is more feminine and younger looking, whereas a large chin is more masculine and stronger in appearance.
