When you have Food Network playing in the background every weekday afternoon like I do, this is really all you notice after awhile:

I had to quit watching every day. It made me HUNGRY!
Repeat is listed for tonight at 10:30pm EST on Comedy Central..
Sexual situations overtly implied.
This is funny. I used to LOVE FN, but one day, without really knowing why, I just stopped watching. After a while, I tuned back in and all the annoyances just slapped me in the face and I realized why I stopped watching:
Giada in her cleavage-baring tops zesting lemons and saying ‘just like that’ after everything she did
Paula’s zoned-out Santa husband (why is he allowed on the set- I’ve never seen a man with less personality)
Sandra Lee saying everything is fabulous and amazing
Rachael Ray- EVOO and garbage bowl
Barefoot Contessa’s strange worship of her husband (her life seems to revolve around having a meal ready for him when he gets home) and love of all things gay (does she have ANY straight friends?)
The nail in the coffin was when it was obvious on the “Next Food Network Star’ shows they always had to have the same PC assortment of contestants, regardless of talent- ethnic woman (hispanic, Indian, etc..), black woman, gay guy, etc... You can’t tell me with all the applicants, they always come up with the same assortment of people. Then they upped the ante with the gay couple as a team instead of just one person! enough- I was done!
Hope you checked out last week’s South Park..
I sure did. LOL! :)
The new “Cooking Channel” seems to fill in the gap of traditional cooking shows where Food Network has gone the way of game shows.
Let’s not forget Cat Kora who is gay....plus watch Home and Garden channel....it’s 24/7 gay couples all the time.
I used to watch the Food Network constantly and realized I stopped cooking - I was so exhausted watching cooking I didn’t feel like cooking - same happened with HGTV shows, never felt like painting a room, cleaning etc. anymore, I was so tuckered out from watching other people doing it.

I think the same happened to me. My mind would just be racing with recipes and techniques to try and I couldn’t decide on anything, just I just did nothing! For all the ideas I got, I don’t think I ever made one recipe that I saw!
Oh, yeah, Cat and her ‘wife’ and 4 sons. I can’t stand the sight of her! What about that woman from Secrets of a Restaurant chef- heavy set with spiky blonde hair. I would bet she’s a lesbian.
How about Diners Drive In’s and Dives, love it, just so many ways to fix a burger..Elton Brown has a lot or real cooking information, but he loses me with all of the stupid things he thinks he has to have on the program. Drop all the schlock, and stick to basic cooking.
They canceled Ace of Cakes!!! I am not happy!

I miss Sara Moulton. :( She was the only one with serious food chops who knew how to teach.
I watch Sandra Lee for other reasons than her cooking. She is very nice looking. For some reason it turns me on when she wears oven mitts.
That's why I quit watching The Beer & Liquor Channel. I was so snockered from watching all those people drinking, I was nearly passed out on the couch, unable to get up to myself a drink of my own.
