He had to be an idiot to sit there and eat all the leaves, or what ever they are called, off an artichoke. The only thing good on them is about 1/4 inch at the attachment point to the rest of the darn thing! All the rest of that leaf is very tough! I bet a cow would need a few repeated chewings on those leaves to get them to digest!

By the weirdest coincidence I just tried the cedar smoked salmon at the local restaurant a few days ago.

LOL! Good job. Castroville California is the Artichoke Capitol of the WORLD! They have roadside stands in the shape of an artichoke that sell deep friend artichoke hearts. Next time you see a box of artichokes, check out where they are from..... dollars to donuts they are grown in Castroville!
