Amazons stance against censorship may be getting 5 stars from a handful of its customers, but the big bookseller is getting single-star ratings and threats from consumers promising to take their business elsewhere in protest of a controversial volume on its Kindle sales shelf.
The Pedophiles Guide to Love and Pleasure is getting overwhelmingly negative reaction from online shoppers who have used comments like absolutely disgusting and Are you insane? in posts that pan both the book and Amazon for selling it.
More than 1,400 comments had been posted to the Amazon listing early Wednesday evening; about 99 percent were critical of Amazons decision to sell the volume and many posters were indicating they would boycott making purchases there if the company continued to offer the Pedophiles Guide.
Among the handful supporting Amazon, comments generally praised Amazon for not exercising censorship but blasted the book.
This is my attempt to make pedophile situations safer for those juveniles that find themselves involved in them, by establishing certain rules for these adults to follow, writes book author Phillip R. Greaves. I hope to achieve this by appealing to the better nature of pedosexuals, with hope that their doing so will result in less hatred and perhaps liter [sic] sentences should they ever be caught.
Among Greaves suggestions are alternatives for children too small to use actual condoms and the use of pin-up pictures of fully clothed juveniles for stimulation to avoid arrest.

As a rule I’m very opposed to censorship. Not in this case though. Amazon is in the wrong and needs to pull the book.
Amazon can go # itself.
No decent person should support a company that profits from the promotion of pedophilia.
Looks like the perverts at Amazon have had the hots for little boys before.....

It’s not censorship for a private company to refuse to sell a book. They should stop selling this crap — or let the FBI know exactly who has purchased it.
I wonder how books on torture and rape of Muslims would go over on Amazon?
“So whats next? they said. A do-it-yourself book on how to rape and torture women?”
The Qur’an

Post the names and pictures of the children of the people at amazon who think this is ok.Pack of sick bastards.
Something is seriously wrong with this nation and the world. This is just a symptom.
It won’t end well. After all, He will only put up with so much before imposing a reckoning. (And to the atheists: A society that accepts such filth will collapse - spectacularly and bloodily - all on its own.)
I’ve never boycotted any company before, but I am boycotting Amazon over this. And I was a big customer. Freedom of speech has nothing to do with this at all. Amazon has the freedom to NOT sell this book and I have the freedom to not do business with a company that makes a bad decision. So, Amazon, Buh Bye!
Looks like they’ve already pulled the book. The title came up in a search but when I clicked on it, I received a “We’re sorry. The Web address you entered is not a functioning page on our site” message.
When I typed it into the Amazon search, it appeared on the screen as available for Kindle ... “Kindle Price $4.79 includes free wireless delivery via Amazon Whispernet...” Creepy on several different levels.
Amazon's commitment is easy enough to test. Would it be similarly willing to sell a book that advocated, or even just encouraged, the attack on or murder of Amazon's owners and executives? It's always, "Whose ox is being gored?"
That's what I got. Were you able to actually click on it? I wasn't. Could be the site is overloaded with people leaving comments or Amazon did a quick about-face and pulled the title.
Hopefully the later.
The sequel to that book Should be titled “How to Find a Hospital After a 12 Gauge Lead Enema, if You Can Live That Long”. Also How to Survive a 16’ Fall using a 4’ Hemp Rope”.
Yes, it let me click. I wrote little review (there are 2,000 ticked off people writing reviews, so far,) and then left.
Well, being that’s it’s sold from an on-line retailer... Amazon now has a list with the names, addresses, and a credit card number of all those that bought it.
That alone would be extremely useful for law enforcement personnel dealing with pedophile cases.
