Just watched the CBS video again...still looks like South to North to me. I have seen nothing from the government saying anything about a direction of travel...as far as I know the government is saying only that it wasn’t a missile (ours or a hostile). I have seen nothing about “witnesses” either...just people that have looked at the edited chopper footage. Are there reports from people “on the beach”? I am still open-minded, but leaning towards Alaska Air Flight #225 or #221.

If it was a launch, why no Red Collar call from a DSP bird alarm?

If a/c, why no ATC track? I know ATC keeps recording of all a/c tracks for at least 180 days.

DOD would have rules out a/c ASAP. Time and direction would be easily discernable from sun angle.

Also plume/contrail does not dissipate at extent jet contrails do.
