That was 1918 cost, how much was the nominal cost of World War I? I think the cost was 52% of GDP.

Basically this man-child boy is acting like a Pharaoh or Roman Emperor. Independent of cost, he is finished as President when he is defeated handily in 2012.

The Louisiana Purchase cost $15 million in 1804.
Disneyland cost $17 million to build in 1955.
In 1972, The Godfather was the 2nd highest grossing film of all time, with $245 million in worldwide box office receipts.

He’s stopping off to visit a mosque in Indonesia so he’ll take that opportunity to announce that he can’t rule the racist, anti-Islamic, nation of the US and that he’s asking for asylum in Indonesia.
Just a thought.

The cost of the Iraq war is 288mil/day USD. He is spending around that to go on this trip.
1. Bomb proof tunnels...
2. 34 Warships?
3. 3000 men and women.
4. 800 rooms.
To: NowApproachingMidnight
4 to a room? What’s going on here?

Why are there not protesters outside of the WH 24 hours per day, every day, with big signs that read, "IT'S NOT YOUR MONEY!!"

I'm just wondering what sort of extra-Constitutional global treaties he's planning on signing while he's over there.

Hey c’mon! The Messiah has probably “worked” for a whole month without a vacation. He’s entitled to take 3000 of his closest rapper buddies and basketball pals on a taxpayer funded vacation to India. If you think otherwise, you must be a racist!

One tv network news outlet ran a story today on the new Hoover Dam Bridge. Its very impressive and cost about $250 million to build. That won’t cover 2 days of Obama’s trip to India.
